Excellent castle between Halle and Leipzig
Nordgaardon 01/05/2017 15:41We had en excellent stay at Schlosshotel Schkopau located very close to Halle and Leipzig. Very spacious room and very large bathroom with all you need. View from the room to the castle tower and courtyard. Very clean and beautiful decorated in all parts of the castle. Very helpful reception and service in general was at the top. An excellent restaurant, where your breakfast was served and dinner in the evening. We can really recommend this place. Will come back.
Wonderful place
Bruno Con 05/02/2017 20:34Stayed here for one night only -unfortunately- and found out all simply lovely. The hotel is based is in a castle, really fascinating, rooms are very clean and service professional and friendly. Excellent value for money
A nice Castle experience
Sue Fon 28/04/2016 11:47We stayed at this hotel for two nights during the week. The room was excellent. We ate in the Restaurant on both evenings. The room rate included a full breakfast. The staff on the reception were very helpful and our waitress in the restaurant was very attentive. We travelled to the hotel by coach. I would imagine most people staying would drive there and avail themselves of the parking facilities. We travelled to nearby Halle for the day by tram which stopped just outside the hotel walls. There are no coffee/tea facilities in the room. There is a wellness programme on offer should you wish to unwind after a long day with special offers for couples. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay in a Castle at a very reasonable price.
Simply romantic
Al Con 03/11/2015 09:02If you dream about an romantic night at a high level here is the place . Go and live it and we will speak later :) Good food, wine and rooms . Enjoy it and you will go home with a new perspective , that can I assure you. Don't forget to take a walk through the park .
Wedding weekend
autumnpoemon 14/09/2015 01:14I stayed at this hotel for two nights to attend the wedding of a friend. The wedding was also at this hotel. It is very beautiful with friendly staff. Breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant. The breakfast selection was extensive.
The area surrounding the hotel was beautiful and perfect for a long walk. There are small lakes, trees and corners to explore. The hotel is a nice place to get away in a little town.
