Could be excellent
SwissmissOmon 19/08/2017 19:18We stayed two nights in August with our teen girls. We had a family room. Check in was pretty slow, because only two people where staffing the front desk during main check in time !
Our room was facing the Main Street so I ask would there be a more quiet room away from street, which I was rudely told No! we don't have any other rooms. We paid more then $ 500 for this two nights!
The lady who checked us in was the owner ,so don't really get it why you are in the hospitality industry if you are rude.
All other staff we encountered was helpfully and friendly.
Room was a very nice size for Europe. Bathhroom very small , two people can't be in there at the same time.
Everything was very clean and the room had a fridge what was very handy since we had to store some medication in a fridge.
Location is right in the center of Füssen , opposite of the entrance of the pedestrian zone , so it's very convenient to explore the town by foot and stroll around at night.
So I would say if your room faces away from street definitely a perfect stay.
If you face the street you will hear ambulances and police all night long since they get to the hospital nearby!
Didn't make for a very good night sleep!
Room had air conditioning what was great since it was very hot when we stayed in Füssen.
Breakfast was absolutely great, I would say one off the best we ever had. Great selection of cold meats and cheeses , different juices, eggs, crepes , fruits, sausages, pretzel and breads.The chocolate fountain was a very nice addition and they had a absolutely awesome coffee machine.
So the breakfast buffet is really outstanding !
We had problems with the safe to open up , what one staff mentioned they had a lot. After three tries they could final open it,they thought problems with the battery, and I have to say that the front desk lady was very helpful . It made us about 1 1/2 hour late since each time you have to wait 20 minutes to try again.
Would I stay again,probably, but only in a room away from Main Street and it would be nice if check in would be less rude .
This place could be excellent if they would do a few improvements .

Chera Jon 16/08/2017 23:46We were so impressed with this hotel! Our room was fabulous and very nice size. Big bathroom with a large tub and also a large shower. We had French doors that opened to a huge patio. The breakfast included was really good and lots of options. We will definitely be back!
Central location - ok stay but not value for money
LadyDoeswijkon 12/08/2017 11:24We stayed in a "family" room which is a bed settee made up - which was fine. Upon entry you see the hotel is dated and needs a touch up. Receptionist was really friendly and had good tips. Our bedroom smelt of cigarettes even though it was a none smoking room - we could smell smoke even in the lifts at times. The 2nd day we may have had a different cleaner because the room felt brighter and cleaner. Food in the hotel was mediocre and not worth the money. Parking under the hotel is incredibly tight to come in but great that you can park directly under the hotel.
Perfect for a night to visit the castle

Beautiful hotel
buckeye2162on 07/08/2017 20:52We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was almost perfectly clean (with the exception of the urine all over the back of the toilet). I made the front desk aware of it upon check out. I cleaned some of it myself with wipes.
The food was also good. We ate pizza for dinner and then had the breakfast buffet. Lots of good choices on the buffet. They kept it clean and well-stocked.
There are a limited amount of parking spaces, so if you want one, reserve it the same time you get your room.
