Lovely little holiday

Pros:
Beautiful hotel it's very modern and clean
Rooms are cleaned regularly as is the bedding and towels
Lovely sea views
Short walk to the plaji-town
Good value
Family run
The evening buffet is 30TL per person and is AMAZING- meze drinks mains desserts breads all included in the price 😍

Cons:
Poor breakfast choice (bread and jam is what I ate for two weeks!) It's full of salad and rubbish not even a genuine Turkish breakfast
Tea and coffee and pop IS NOT FREE we thought it was and helped ourselves to a coffee only to be approached and told it was 4 lira a cup!!
The wifi is slow and cuts out randomly sometimes for hours on end
The slide is only sometimes switched on so we didn't use it
It's about a 20 mins walk to the front where there is bars and shops so if your not up for the daily walk don't bother 😁

A Rejuvinated Seabird

The Seabird hotel is very nicely situated facing the sea in Altinkum . Previously it didn't have a great reputation and was normally only half booked throughout the season , but after it's refurbishment during 2015 the Seabird is somewhere nice to go again . It's family owned , and the rooms although compact are nice and fresh and clean and ours had a full size fridge at no extra charge . The good thing is with this hotel is that after spending a lot of money on a refurb , room prices are pretty much the same as before because the hotel is now pretty full because of word of mouth . They do good meals and drinks are very reasonably priced . One thing you will save a lot of money on is the fact that Turkish tea , coffee , water & soft drinks are available all day for free , not just at breakfast . Nightimes there is often light entertainment with someone singing and playing a keyboard . The ground floor areas are now very pleasing with the new decor . Have a drink or meal at night and watch over the sea . Prices for rooms when we went were only £10 per person per night .

Girls Holiday

We had a last minute girls holiday, and I would recommend this hotel. we paid for bed and breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Inside the rooms you have a walk in shower facilities, double bed and lots of space inside the rooms. The breakfast was traditional Turkish and was fresh and just enough for you to start the day. Will be looking to stay here again also the view is amazing

Cheap & cheerful don't expect too much

So after reading reviews we decided to take a chance on this hotel, at £80 for a week half board for 2 people we couldn't complain so here is my honest opinion and I got back yesterday. First impression, clean hotel, staff appeared friendly. First morning breakfast consisted of sausage, boiled egg and chips with salad, avoided breakfast for the rest of the holiday as this isn't what I eat, not traditional Turkish breakfast despite what some people say. Rooms comfortable for a stay but balcony you cannot swing a cat on them, one chair and it's full. Bizarre set up of pool area downstairs and sun lounger upstairs but guess we need to be grateful it has a pool. Wet room for a bathroom was a bit of a pain to be honest but it's manageable. Great location however and local bars and restaurants with some great, cheap food available. Couldn't eat the food in the hotel as it was cold and guesswork to find out what it actually was every night. Not sure of the guy's name but one member of staff was just plain ignorant towards guests and quite rude at times. After all this though, would I stay again yes, you cannot go wrong for how much it is to stay here.

great stay

After reading several poor reviews for this hotel i was not looking forward to staying here. Boy was i surprised the hotel was great for the money we paid. the staff were very helpful with any problems we had .i can not understand what people expect for the small amount of money paid to stay here. the room was large enough for 2 people and the shower was a wet room with plenty of space. Yes we had to pay for air con but this still was a cheap place to stay including the air con price!! the sun terrace was ideal as myself and my sister don,t like to lie on the beach . so i would stay here again without any worries .
