Sea shell resort, is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in, I wanna go back the hotel is stunning 10/10, Food was amazing 10/10 and the hotel reps really did make it special. Armando was the greatest ( from Jay ), the staff in general was great, loved the chiefs there too. But truly a great experience, I will be returning. You wont be disappointed.

Our visit to Janjira fort and Murud beach was partially spoilt because of the hotel

We wanted to visit the Janjira fort and take the kids to the beach in Murud so I booked the rather costly rooms (@ INR 5000+) in this so called resort. We were in for a shock on reaching the property...though the property is on the main road facing the sea but you also have a open drainage next to the property. It can best be called a lodge and not a resort or Hotel.

1. The room provided to us was sea facing (and drainage facing) but no provision of lift for a room on 2nd or 3rd floor.
2. What we assume as basic in most hotels was missing. A bottle of water was kept in the room which was basically tap water filled in a plastic bottle. The colour of bottle with water was yellow which meant no body bothered about it. Its better not to keep water in the room than to keep something like this.
3. We had ants all over the room including on the bed so we had to call them to clean the room which should be done before giving room. Horrible to have ants with you on the bed with kids around.
4. My kids wanted to rest for some time but they jumped out of bed when they saw a lizard popping out its head from under the mattress (as if we were intruders in her area).
5. On complaining they changed to another room which was again already occupied by ants so we shared the room with ants again.
6. We came back in the evening to room to find the AC making a weird whining sound and we were told it is like that only as its old. We had to switch off the AC and sleep as it was better to sleep without AC than to have that loud sound disturbing you.

🎈 Excellent hotel to stay
🎈 Neat and tidy room, co operative staff
🎈 electricity was not there for most of time but there was absolutely no problem as generator provision nicely maintained ,even air conditioner were working
🎈 Small swimming pool, a plus point , after a warm day outside we can easily relax and enjoy
🎈 playground for small children
🎈 Small garden for relaxation and photography
🎈 Good parking area

Awesome sea view from the hotel. Very convenient location from Murud beach. I had been on a 2 day holiday with my family. Rooms are neat & tidy. A small swimming pool & kids play area. Highly recommended for stay!

Excellent with good views

We stayed here on March 2017 11th to 13th. This is only lodging and serve breakfast. No lunch and dinner. Rooms are nice and cosy. Bed and linens are clean. Toilets are clean and maintained. We were at 205. The hotel is expanding. The should have spa, massage, free Wi-Fi as well. A full fledge dining would also help future customers.
