Like home sweet home...
Peter Son 09/07/2017 14:10Recently visited Crete and stayed in this Lovely Hotel. Great place, excellent service. It is like home. Everyone smiles and welcomes you. You can actually feel the warmth from their heart. Maids and bartenders, front desk, everyone. Even the gardener was a really nice man watering the plants. Cozy rooms, comfortable beds, candle holders everywhere just to feel the romance of Greece. All in blue and white what u expect from a Greek place. 14 nights in heaven that is all i can say about this amazing Hotel. Thank you Gina behind the front desk and thank you all for you great service that made our stay unforgettable. Hope to see u again soon.
Fantastic holiday
Glynis Won 06/07/2017 11:54Brilliant location for beach, tavernas, bars and all amenities. Seagull hotel went a long way to the making of our fantastic holiday. Unable to fault anything, the rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. The view from our balcony was incredible and the roof terrace bar was nothing short of delightful. All the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and caring. We just cannot wait to return next year. Thank you for everything. Steve and Glynis Webster

A great stay!
Delphine Non 11/10/2016 00:04We loved our stay at Seagull! We stayed 8 nights and had a great time. Although 2 stars, the hotel gave us a good size studio, a very clean, large outdoor pool, the sea and a very nice beach a stone throw away from the hotel and you can get free sunbeds at one of the beach clubs when you tell them you stay at Seagull.
Breakfast was not included but for 6 Eur very generous and included a variety of breads, fresh fruit, a ham and cheese toastie, Greek yoghurt and honey, fresh orange juice, butter, jams, honey and a chocolate spread, coffee or tea, and a stunning view of the sea from the roof top! Oh and that's only the continental breakfast, there was also a Cretan option available but we didn't try it.
Receptionist Gina was ever so friendly and welcoming, it felt like going home after a day at the beach or going round the island. We had a few quibbles but they were quickly rectified.
The hotel is just behind the main road in Agia Marina, which is a 20-min bus ride from Chania. It was easy to navigate anywhere from there, book a cab, tour. There were plenty of bars and restaurants and Platanias was also about 20 minute walk away for better nightlife. Agia Marina is a more quiet option if you fancy a relaxing option, although given the number of resorts, it must be heaving in the summer.
If i were to return to Agia Marina and looked for a more personable and homely experience that a faceless 4 or 5 star beach resort, i would definitely go back to Seagull.
