What People are saying
"Newly remodeled room" still in the 70's, but ok
MTraveler222on 11/04/2017 03:34Room was "newly remodeled" however, it was still stuck in the 70's. It was a "nice" room however.... there was no screens on the windows. So if you opened the windows to listen to the waves you had little bugs fly in the room to join you. The room had a small pet in it previously where you could still see the "markings" on the corner of the bed and under the bathroom sink. The electric fireplace had a timer on it, and no directions at all on how to work the darn thing. Then there was the alarm clock that had a 30 min alarm that went off from midnight till 2 am when I unplugged the darn thing. The person who was in the room before me must of had the same issue because the alarm clock was unplugged when I got to the room. It is a beach front room, and you can see the waves very nicely from the room. It did have a 1 cup coffee maker in the room, and only enough coffee for one weak cup. Must wash any dishes you use or extra charge. Overall, nothing fancy but would work again if you just want to get lost watching the waves of the ocean.
Great deal! Amazing view
katiepantsison 01/04/2017 04:38Amazing view, right on the beach! Very easy walk down to the beach. Staff was super friendly and helpful for tourist questions. We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite with a queen bed and fireplace, it was quiet and romantic. Very clean, and they let us bring our doggy which was a huge bonus.
A great bargain.
satojohn53on 20/09/2016 17:20After researching many hotels on the internet for the best value and cleanest hotel and calling many of the hotels and talking to the managers and owners, I made a choice to stay at the Seagull Motel in Lincoln City, OR. That was the best choice. The only downfall is, they have not elevator. So, the hotel is literally on the beach. Your big picture window in your room looks out on the Pacific Ocean. It is the most beautiful scene. The sunset lasts a long time. After the sun goes down, all the sunset colors last for many, many more minutes. If you want a nice evening, go get J's Fish and Chips and have dinner in your room and watch the sunset. It is great.
Nasty and Dirty
639sandylon 10/09/2016 18:42I booked online, the pictures on line looked like it was very nice, the room they gave us was NOTHING like the room pictured online. It was outdated and nasty, The AWomen at the front desk was very RUDE.
Flawless View
amelia27coyleon 24/08/2016 06:04We stayed in a room that had three beds in it-- one bed in a separate front room and two beds in the main room. The beds were perfectly clean, cozy and comfy. The whole room was extremely clean which you don't always find at beach front motels-- there was no remnants of sand in the carpet, hidden in the bathroom or any corners. The view from the room was flawless with three large windows looking over the beach and small windows below you could open for the breeze and ocean noises. The room also had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and seating area to eat at. Every one we interacted with at the front desk was kind and hard working. The place is not flawless, it has its quirks of missing light covers, plugs that don't work, and mismatching decor-- but this doesn't take away from the cleanliness or functionality of the room.
