156talhacon 29/08/2017 07:51hotel is very nice and stuff is very helpful . location is perfect. I can recommend to anyone who wants to have a stay in in a clean and comfortable room near the main train station. everything was good, I can't find to say anything that is not good !
No dinner.....
davidbI2794CUon 25/08/2017 11:06I arrived late at the hotel. I had written twice to ask that dinner be left for me. No reply to my emails, and no food. Very poor. I first emailed two days in advance, and then again on the day of my arrival. No excuse for not dealing with my problem.
Pleasant and welcoming hotel in a great position
ThelwallPowellson 19/08/2017 19:21We arrived on the train from Berlin just after 10pm and were given a very warm welcome. We checked in with the minimum of fuss and were in our room within 5 minutes. Lovely room (Superior double on the 4th floor) with extremely comfortable beds and pillows; very quiet too as we overlooked the inner courtyard. The hotel is really close to the Hauptbahnhof so in a great position for travellers arriving by train; it is also on the edge of the Old Town so very easy to wander along the streets to all the main points of interest (e.g. three minutes walk from St Nicholas Church where Bach's St John's Passion was premiered) and many restaurants. Very efficient air conditioning (necessary as it was 30 degrees whilst we were there).
We had breakfast in the hotel on one of our three mornings - it was delicious but relatively expensive at 16 Euros so we chose to pop out to one of the many local cafes for coffee and croissants on the other days. There are plenty to choose from, including some very nice ones at the station itself (which is very smart).
If returning to Leipzig I would definitely stay at the Park Hotel again (the Seaside refers to the chain of hotels I believe as it is nowhere near the sea!!).
Good location
minnar02on 19/08/2017 11:31The location is good, very near railway station, clean room, nice beds. Free Wi-Fi very slow, possibility to buy more but shouldn't be necessary in 4 star hotel. AC a bit loud when on but otherwise quiet.
German Holiday
U9658FAedwardron 15/08/2017 10:41The room was functional with plenty of space. Very handy for travel by rail also easy to get to the main square and many restaurants. All the arrangements for check in and check out were very efficient.
