What People are saying

work meeting trip

The view is "ESPECTACULAR", nice rooms, friendly service, nice in-room jacuzzi, not great but good gym, golf course within 15 minutes. The hotel is located in front of a beautiful long, wide open beach. Strong currents and rocky bottom preclude safe swimming specially with kids. A nice 15' walk to the left of the property leads to a protected bay where one can enjoy the ocean and the sandy beach.
The food...well the food was not so great. Japanese restaurant was ok, much better than breakfast brunch, but always crowded. All in all, food was the weakest link in the chain.

Paradise. Simply.

I've been to Paradise, and I've come back from Paradise... and I wish I were back in Paradise. We spent four nights at the Marquis Los Cabos this past weekend and it was truly, truly, truly the VACATION of a lifetime. I miss so much about the Marquis, I don't even know where to start: the view, the sound of the ocean crashing right there, the most amazing pool with the best view, the food, the service.... Everything was first class. We had never done an all-inclusive or beach resort trip before, but even my husband who gets bored easily, admits it was really a fabulous, restful and fun experience. Go now. Take me with you.

Friendly, Relaxing Getaway - Amazing Views

This resort is nothing short of spectacular. The staff was always super helpful and friendly. The AC in the first room I stayed in didn't get very cold. I called the front desk and immediately the team sent someone to check it out. As soon as they realized there wasn't a quick fix, they moved me to a new room asap. I really appreciated their attentiveness. The room was super comfortable and the views were amazing. The ocean is not swimmable due to the crashing waves but the sounds are so soothing and the infinity pools make up for it. This resort was pretty quiet and I didn't notice any disturbance from highway sounds that other reviews mentioned. I wish the food selections would have been more authentic. No complaints on the food itself but just wished there would have been more variety. The same menu for room service each night became a bit tiresome. The kitchen staff was always happy to serve and on our last day they even came to our table to thank us for the stay and left us with a beautiful dessert and note. I would definitely stay here again! Special thanks to Hugo, Ozcar and the Vista Ballenas crew for making this such a memorable experience.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, food just ok

We went with a large group on a business trip and the place was beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. If you're a big drinker, then you'll love it. There was a constant flow of wait staff ready to take your orders and the drinks were good. As more of a foodie, I wasn't very happy with the food. It's all inclusive, so I kind of figured it wouldn't be great. The sushi place was awful, but staff so wonderful! The lunch wasn't very good and we went out to dinner off site most nights. I did like the shrimp ceviche though! Pool and beach were gorgeous! Rooms really lovely!

Friendliest staff, amazing service!

My husband and I headed to Marquis Los Cabos for a quick getaway. The overwhelmingly positive reviews had us feeling pretty confident that we had selected the right resort, and that feeling was reaffirmed from the moment we got there all the way through to the moment the resort disappeared in the rearview mirror. The service level exceeded even my highest expectations. Everyone greeted you with an "Hola" and a smile. The room was roomy and beautiful with an incredible view of the ocean. Every morning, our coffee and sweet rolls magically arrived at our door, which we then took out to our balcony to enjoy the magnificent sunrise. After a workout in the well appointed gym (cardio, weights, trx bands, and more!), we went to Vista Ballenas for breakfast, where the hostess Adriana was the absolute sweetest! We had the option of buffet or menu, so even at breakfast, options were aplenty! Since our main goal was to completely decompress, we headed down to the pool. The chairs all faced the infinity edge pool, so unlike other resorts, you merely had to slide off your chair into the pool. And you really didn't have to leave, as both food and drink was served directly to you while at the pool. The ceviche at Dos Mares (offered in multiple regional variations) was delicious (I had Yucatan)! We enjoyed dinner at Vista Ballenas one night (pork was fantastic), dined at Pergola the next, and the last night at Sakke. All in all, variety and quality of food was more than I expected, but above all, the lasting memory for me will be the quality of service. Sincerely, it was the most wonderful staff I have ever encountered. They made our short little vacation something incredibly special.
