Maria Son 29/05/2017 20:44!Great location right next to the train station. Awesome lake view st the balcony, not so much for the room, its quite old...Its our third time we stop at this hotel. Dont get the breakfast though, get out and explore, there are many bakeries and cofee shops around with delicious fresh taste 😉
Nice place to stay
570414586on 25/05/2017 06:46Staid in hotel sedartis for 2 nights. Modern interior and the rooms on the back have a nice view over the lake. Try to avoid the rooms at the front. The train station is opposite the hotel. Comes in handy but is also noisy. Friendly staff, good food and clean rooms.
Nice place, needs new staff
pocoklanyon 01/05/2017 20:08I have been several times to Sedartis. The food is ok, the price is high and the staff is very.., how to say, has a lot of space for improvement. Not friendly, not smiley, not helpful. It's like they have carrot in their behind. Unfortunately for the price you have very many other option in the neighborhood. But, when everything is closed, even in the middle of the night they have cigarette machine which is always available;)

GIDE56on 21/03/2017 23:29On Valentines 2017 we enjoyed a great and unforgettable party (Apéro riche and banquet dinner) with family and friends at the Hotel & Restaurant Sedartis in Thalwil. The enthusiasm and the professionalism of Mr. Ueli Knobel and all his team during the preparation of the event as well as the evening itself were absolutely outstanding! The decoration, the details, the food and beverages, the rooms, the service, the technical support during the party, the kindness of the team unbeatable!
We discovered a pearl on the lake of the Zurich and proudly recommend this place for every occasion!
Crisp & value for money
John Non 02/03/2017 07:55Returning to Sedartis was confirmation of my earlier experience .. a very well-considered architectural statement bought alive by good hospitality management... fairly priced & multi-lingual... inc widespread through the hotel staff, fluent English speaking .. which in many parts of this city is ( somewhat surprising to me ) still tricky.
Some may not like the 'spartan' interiors of the rooms-- but here's form& function... & compared to many a hotel in Europe with dated, ugly fitouts, Sedartis stands proud.
Pity the restaurant lacks consistency & quality.. maybe you can't have everything?
