Recommended comfortable hotel
john jon 15/08/2017 16:44I stayed here for 3 nights during a business trip with 2 colleagues. The building and grounds are attractive and set in beautiful countryside with nearby views of snowdonia. My room was a good size, on the ground floor with a large bathroom and French doors opening out onto a garden patio with a table & chairs. The rooms and hotel in general are very clean and the staff pleasant to deal with.
There is a swimming pool and changing rooms with a small gym. Unfortunately much of the gym equipment did function correctly which was one of the only 2 faults I had with the hotel. The other fault being that despite the bar menu stating all
Meals available all day, we were unable to get even a sandwich at 12:30pm so had to drive out and get lunch elsewhere. We ate in the bar in the evenings though and couldn't fault the quality or service. Had it not been for the 2 faults I would happily awarded 5 stars.
That said, I would certainly stay here again.
Excellent few days
brian12132on 13/08/2017 20:47Have just returned from the Seiont Manor and had a lovely couple of days. Due to late arrival and not booking a meal on first night (totally my fault) we were unable to eat there on the first night but the receptionist was able to direct us to a very close local alternative which was fine. Breakfast at the manor was very good and the staff very attentive.
The second night we ate in the bar, absolutely loved it, both of our meals were very tasty.
An ideal base to explore Wales, will certainly visit again.

aggyb85on 13/08/2017 19:13Thought the hotel was very nice, huge room and very friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely. Only criticism is that the decor was a bit dated and with such a huge room it's a shame the bed wasn't larger than a double. That said I would recommend and would happily stay again.
Nice stay
Timo Son 28/07/2017 23:06We stayed one night during a short trip to Wales. Booking was easy and upon arrival the staff was friendly and helpful making arrival a pleasant experience. Room was clean and nice.
Overall the stay was nice. Dinner was nice but not exceptional. Network connection was OK, but not fast.
Breakfast was good; only minus was that the ham in eggs Benedict was not fried, but cold from fridge.
Disappointed....
PSidderson 23/07/2017 09:11A charming building in a quiet location with staff that gave a friendly welcome. The reception area, bar & dining areas along with the pool complex were all well presented. Our room, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. I had booked a suite, which on check-in, was described to me as the honeymoon suite so expectations as to its appearance were high. Reality was so disappointing. Flaking plaster in the bedroom and a really dilapidated bathroom - cracked tiles, rotten bath panel and mould.
I emailed a few pictures to customer services and weeks later received a 668 word reply full of self-adulation, deflecting blame to previous Hotel owners and offered no apology. It mentioned that refurbishment would take place in the next 24 to 36 months. As such, 2020 should be a good year to make a booking, not before.
