What People are saying

A first and last stay

HSFeilon 09/07/2017 22:24

Arrived on a Sunday. Hotel is locked and the reception closed.
Find passcode for front door in attachment of reservation email. Enter building.
Look for mailboxes hanging on wall. Enter next code to open one of the boxes.
Extract room card. Take super slow and small elevator to room.
Have trouble finding it as room numbers on very small plaque at the top corner of each door. Why someone would put the there I don't know.
Our family room is large; living/dining room with kitchenette along with a master bedroom for the parents and a separate room with 2 single beds for the kids.
Room was very warm and had a strange smell as if it hadn't been used/aired for a while.
Opened all windows and got all the loud fans working.
The hotel has NO air conditioning (!!!) which, in the summer, means either open windows and bugs/mosquitos at night or closed windows and rooms like a sauna, especially after hefty thunderstorms this afternoon when everything is exceptionally muggy.
The room had two refrigerators, one of which was giving off so much additional heat we turned it off.
Personally, I would not want to prepare a meal in the kitchenette.
The bathroom is ok with lots of towels but no soap. And the water does not drain well from the tub nor does the fan/vent seem to work either.
Each room has a TV (so 3 in total) with only French channels (we couldn't get all of the same channels on all of the devices).
I can't say anything about the breakfast yet but based on what we've experienced thus far I'm not expecting much.
It seems many of the other guests are staying for a longer period. The hotel has a small gym and a laundry room where for €3 guests can do a load (I assume you'd have to bring your own washing powder).
Across the road there is an Asian buffet restaurant which we "had" to try because it was raining so hard, it did't make sense to try and drive elsewhere. It's ok but nothing special; a lot of fried Chinese/Vietnamese dishes.
We hope to get some sleep and quickly the put this experience behind us.
It's is certainly NOT value for money and we will continue to stay at a different an preferred French hotel chain.

Good value for money but not in the hot months

We had a short 2-night stay months ago. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly. The location is easy to find. Given the competitive price, it is rather ideal for budget travelers. However, the room didn't have air-conditioning so it may not be a good choice for the hot months.

Friendly, helpful staff......

We received a great welcome from the reception staff. This was mirrored by the cleaning staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Great little kitchen area. good basic facilities at a reasonable price.

Free wifi in the rooms. Didn't work one night but they got it fixed first thing the next day.

They printed out my Ryanair boarding passes without any fuss or charges.

There's no air conditioning but the staff provided us with fans. Cannot complain- it was heatwave even for Provence. If you don't like the hot weather don't go to the South of France in July- try Shetland instead.

Breafasts were fine even though on the pricey side.

Car park lighting wasn't working and building main door and fire exits seemed to be open all hours.

Hot water not available late at night.

On a light industrial estate some distance from the town centre,

Self service washing machine and tumbler drier- just remember to clean out the fluff trap before use.

Would definitely return outside the very hot weather.

AVOID!! No wifi, no hot water, noisy room, no air condition

This hotel is chosen since it is close to my friends. I know this is a budget hotel so I am talking about the basics. I will not complain about the air conditioning much since it is not mentioned anyway. However, it can get hot for the afternoons in the south France.
The wifi is not working at all though they have already limited to have only one connection per room. I tried to take a shower in the evening but found no hot water. The room is noisy as the ventilation cannot be turned off or down and it seems the motor inside is quite old. I would pay more or drive longer to stay somewhere else.

Room is good.

The room we had booked was just great. Enough space and also the kitchen had all the things we needed. Strange thing was that they had been in our room after the first night we have slept there. I'm glad we always take important things with us. The beds are good, the pillows are great. We slept good there.

The rooms can be hot, but because the windows can open it's something we didn't bother. The wifi is just for one device. In case of emergency it is possible to get a second one. The shower was great and clean, but the hot water is minimum. They told us to get hot water all they, you have te pull a switch. Strange, but nice to know!

When you don't have a car, it's not the best place to stay. Otherwise I really can recommend it. You have enough space, a little desk, a table, two chairs, good beds and a clean bathroom.
