GypsyTendancieson 10/03/2017 07:01The meals were good, the room was very comfortable and the staff fantastic. I forgot our passports in the safe when we trained out and the front of house staff were amazingly helpful and had it couriered on to our next stop.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the spa. We had been to several smaller spas throughout Germany and were looking forward to experiencing this complex. The spa complex itself is big and impersonal and I had a horrible experience with one of the spa staff. I speak almost no German and the young man humiliated me in German in front of a group of sauna-goers. The only reason I know what he said was a kind older man told me. If the hotel is not officially affiliated with the spa then I apologise for the lower rating, but it really did put a dampner on our whole experience.
Ideal for business workshops, seminars
Saltukhan Don 19/09/2016 14:57I have visited this hote for a company training. We have spent nice time in the hotel with a good team. The staff was perfect. I enjoyed everyday in the hotel. I was thinking there is a pool in the hotel but I couldn't see it. Maybe there was one near the hotel I do not know. I couldn't find information. I spent nice time. Luneburg was also a great place.
Good hotel
Kattis64on 02/08/2016 16:09We stayed here one nigth during our road trip in Germany. It is a good hotel with good service and close to the old town of Lüneburg. All room had spacious balconies, The room we got was a bit outdated and needed a refurbishment, but overall it's a great hotel. We can definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Very comfortable, delicious breakfast buffet
MelissaInAUon 30/04/2016 07:09I stayed here for a conference. It's a little out of the way, but everywhere in Lüneburg is within easy walking distance. I didn't try the pool, but the Kurpark is just metres away and is absolutely beautiful. If you are attending an event at the university, you can easily walk there through the park - leave the car behind.
The breakfast buffet was delicious. I found the hotel quiet and the room very comfortable.
Short stay, but great!!!
wellsderek4on 27/03/2016 01:54Arrived on a Saturday afternoon with a colleague for a 60th anniversary celebration of an old friend. Very courteous and efficient young lady at reception. Easy check in and directions to room, with a taxi booked for our journey to venue for celebration. The room was very clean and tidy with access to a balcony. we sampled the mini bar which was well stocked and very reasonably priced. We had to change quickly for our meeting, and the showering facilities were excellent with plenty towels to dry off. On return to our hotel the night staff were again very polite. The buffet breakfast was very, very good with plenty of choice and nice fresh coffee. We were a little late in checking out but the young lady was very understanding and did not charge us any extra. For all of the reasons above I will certainly use the hotel again when we hope to return next year
