Good basics in rooms and restaurant
gipsy2001on 28/06/2016 14:58Rooms are fair average without highlights, absolute clean and well made up. The self-serving restaurant has pretty fair prices for the Switzerland and provides a good varity of meals. They are offering a car garage and the surroundings are inviting for a walk to the lakeshore with swimming facilities.
Comfortable quiet hotel with nice bar and great breakfast
Mexican_73on 04/01/2016 17:57The rooms are standard. All very clean. Since these are the rooms for the SPZ most of the rooms will be wheel chair enabled. The area and rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is very good and has a wide variety of fresh juices. Typical Swiss cheese and breads. Fresh eggs and bacon.
The bar upstairs is ver cosy with a chimney. They have a very nice variety of Urs Hecht spirits. Try to get a "Flammkuchen". They are delicious for a small dinner.
If you want a bit of Alpine spirit there is a typical wooden hut on the area open from Thursday till Sunday. They serve nice Swiss raclette and cheese fondue. Reservation required one week in advance.
Clean hotel,good breakfast
Morteza Non 12/06/2015 21:29I've stayed in Seminarhotel 2 times. The breakfast is very good with fresh orange juice which I like too much. The hotel is very clean and near to lake Sempach and you can cycle around lake which has intact nature.

Leonidas_ExpGRon 31/01/2015 18:02For Seminar / workshop purposes the hotel is great. It provides exactly what you need. It has also an underground parking and it is around 25 minutes away from Lucerne. The rooms itself are spacious but quite old and the beds a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast and the lunch menu were quite good, swiss style
Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast
MrBokon 04/09/2014 09:45As has already been said the accommodation blocks make the place seem like an Army barracks. The rooms are OK but at the basic end and I found the bed to be uncomfortable. The weather was hot and so I had to sleep with the windows open and so ended up with mosquito bites.
Breakfast was disappointingly plain - the only plus being that they had a machine that squeezed oranges so you could get absolutely fresh, additive free orange juice.
I had dinner there one night which was basic, boring but expensive - not helped by the fact that my business trip coincided with the outdoor film festival so hotel parking was a nightmare.
Don't book if you don't have a car - a car is essential if you are going to find somewhere to eat as you'll need to visit the other towns in the area.
