Brusta60on 21/06/2017 20:00Had to reserve a room for one of my Board members. Couldn't believe the size of his suite! It was really nice with a sitting room/living room outside his bedroom. Had a fireplace in the bedroom!
Very reasonable price wise. 10.00 more than Fairfield Inn for twice the room.
Highly recommended.
Spa Massage was the BEST
bselveron 19/06/2017 04:49My wife and I have had many massages, and we have had previous massages at the Senator Spa which were excellent, but the massages which we received from Denise and Callie at the Senator Spa this past weekend were THE BEST EVER.
Room needs a refresh, inside and out.

The negatives: the room was shabby and needs a refresh. The doors, inside and out, have not been dusted for ages. The ceiling paint over the shower is peeling and there are spots of mould on the ceiling too.
Skirting boards, door frames and doors need to be painted. The seating area outside the front door of the room is unusable as it is so dirty.
I would not stay here again. Plenty of places have the same positives as the Senator, without the negatives.
Outdated Hotel In Need Of Renovation! Decent Restaurant!
Jujucom1on 18/05/2017 20:11We recently stayed at the Senator Inn while in the area for a gymnastics tournament and found the hotel outdated with a major renovation needed. We stayed in a room on the first floor with 2 double beds and the size of the room was fine. The major issue with this property is that the furnishings are old and the bathroom had numerous issues. We had no hot water after one shower and the bathroom was dirty with plumbing issues.
The pool area was fine, however there was one extremely rude employee at the pool who hovered over us and yelled at my children.
The Cloud 9 restaurant is a decent option as there is not much other than chain restaurants in the area. Breakfast is included and we we had one dinner at the restaurant that was good.
Overall I would not be likely to stay at this property again if in the area.
