Good location
Thao Hon 20/07/2017 04:34Hotel is in walking distance to Sendai station.
The room is new and clean, There is a convenient store on ground level.
Staffs are helpful. We accidentally booked a small room so not very comfortable to stay.
Perfect, if not for the smoking room...
jayque33on 09/05/2017 09:50This hotel would have been perfect if only we managed to book a non-smoking room for our trip. The building is extremely near to Sendai station, but take note that there are only limited lifts on the pedestrian bridge to get to the first floor of the complex. So, if you happen to be carrying huge luggages, the nearest lift would be on the exit just beside the omiyage/souvenirs shop street. The lift is outside (in a corner) so be sure not to miss it ! Once you are down to level 1, you can walk towards your left hand side, past the long taxi queue etc and out to the main roads. Cross the road & walk straight. The hotel's distinct grey building would soon come into sight !!
The reception area wasn't big, but it was sufficient. There's a convenience store just beside the hotel & the best part is that they are connected by a door - so you can visit the konbini without having to get wet (if it's raining) or get a cold (if it's freezing outside). The rooms were modern & once again this is another hotel which did not have that annoying elevated bathroom platform & I am really glad for this!! The pillows were amazingly soft - I had such a good sleep. The downside is that, if you are a non-smoker, don't ever book a smoking room. The corridor's smoke gets into your room and what's worst is that they have this extra door between the level's lift lobby and the rooms section so that the smoke doesn't get out - but it just traps everything in the same area...
I will definitely return when I am visiting Sendai in future - just not book a smoking room.
Good location, Average Price
Zonangon 13/04/2017 23:54Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Less than 5 mins walk to train station and shopping areas. Quite a decent hotel, room size acceptable and the bath room is big. No gym, no pool and other facilities, there is a laundry room and costs 300 yens for washing (about 30 mins) and 100 yens for drying (about 20 mins). The security is very good in this hotel. When you tap your key card in the lift, it auto detect which level you stay. It has a convenient store just beside the lobby. No mineral water bottle provided in this hotel.
Wonderful service, excellent room
Karen Son 01/03/2017 19:37This is a well located hotel -- just a few blocks from the train station. The breakfast was superb, and the bathtub was sized for a bigger person (with a wet room shower). But what really makes it stand out is the service. I left something in my room that I needed, but had returned back to the U.S. Although the hotel did not have a FedEx account, they moved heaven and earth to get my valued object back to me. Having "lost" many things (glasses anyone?) in hotel rooms, I was so impressed with their efforts, which went well beyond what I expected. A+ for a great staff.
Gem Near Train Station
chitravelers11on 09/01/2017 01:31We needed an overnight room for morning train and this business hotel is a 5-minute walk from the JR Sendai station.
Tiny "I can touch both walls" room with queen bed. Small but clean with mini frig and great shower/bath. You'll be amazed how every inch is used, including a pants presser!
Your open suitcase will fill the floor but if you need a convenient, low cost option, that provides a unique experience (you'll never complain about a small room again), you should consider. For me, staying in one of these small rooms is part of the Japanese experience like trying a ryokan or onsen.
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast that was first class in its variety (primarily Japanese) and quality.
We were there on a national holiday so primarily local couples, and families with small kids. Virtually no foreigners which allows you to experience the simple excellence of service without the large crowds of tourists.
