5 Stars price but small town motel quality
Funfunfun1255072on 22/05/2017 13:54Situated at a prime location and that is where it ended. Old, smelly and falling apart. Worst than some of the cheapest small town motel in America. At best it deserve two stars if not lest. Will not live here again!
Nice Hotel but dated
Pastanoteson 18/10/2016 06:15We stayed at the KAL hotel while we biked around the island. It was a little far from the city center but there were taxis available. The hotel design and rooms are very dated but nice. The bathroom shower wasn't great and got water everywhere. The view from the back of the hotel is amazing.
Falling apart and not 5 star hotel
Stephanie Ron 26/09/2016 09:26Friendly staff but overpriced for the quality of the hotel and rooms. Everything was super pricey for food and quality was not 4 or 5 star. You need to bring your own supplies...though willing to pay for great foid this place is not worth it. Buffet was only option as hotel was out of the way unless you drove or took transportation. Buffet was $40 a person for breakfast or more for dinner and quality of food was average nothing exceptional. Only part of the hotel that was upkept was the dinning and lobby. There was mold in the bathrooms, carpet was stained ever where, and the paint inside and outside was peeling. the exterior of the hotal was sad, like a forgotten gem. The view and grounds were amazing and that was the only real reason for the cost. the pool outside was closed even though still warm and they charged for use of the indoor pool area... $8 a use..not for the day. also requires pool cap. ugh...overall more stressful and not budget or really family friendly. The regular beds were super hard...no additional roll aways and you could hear the hall noise and neighbors through walls. Forgot pic of the bathroom but it was grimy with mold around tub and cracked tiles.
High expectations cause disappointment
HTugcaSon 26/09/2016 07:57I stayed at this hotel at the first days of september. The outside pool was closed and the inside pool was not available due to maintenance. The restaurant of the hotel has very limited options, they are mostly good quality. Room service doesn't serve food after 23:50 and if you dont have your own car, you are far from city centre. You may walk like half an hour or so to reach the nearest restaurants. If you have a car, the restaurant area is okish, some coffee shops are available, there is a waterfall and seashell museum nearby.
The hotel has an amazing view but no beaches or anything like that.
No good location for tourist.
sbgholseon 22/04/2016 13:49I stayed in this remotely located hotel because my conference was held here and so discounted price was given ,otherwise if you are pure tourist,do not stay here.Nothing is close here either market or good restaurants.Prices in hotel are high.There is a good garden view and ocean view behind.There is airport limosene bus at only 5 USD which is quite cheaper.But locationwise it is not good hotel.RECEPTION STAFF IS FRIENDLY,ROOMS AVERAGE.
