Centrally located, good price
Gonshi2013on 23/04/2017 14:52Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights. We found the room to be spacious enough for us and liked that it was walking distance to the marina.
We parked at the neighbouring hotel which has valet parking (no choice) and costs 13 Euro a day. Street parking would also have been available, if you find a spot.
We did not try the breakfast and used the tiny little bar fridge to keep some stuff in.
There are 2 grocery stores down the street and various restaurants in the vicinity.
If staying in Cartagena again we would come back to this hotel.
Nice hotel, but you will be hot
langholmon 18/10/2016 14:14Very decent hotel with courteous staff, spotless bedrooms, and a fresh, modern décor...................BUT...............the air conditioning is poor, often being turned off throughout the day so that when you come in at night your room is roasting. Even if you leave the temperature as cool during the afternoon, you will still find that strangely enough it blows out ambient air - As If The System Gets Turned Off At Daytime !

Steve Won 13/09/2016 15:57Not the nicest of places from the outside. The rooms have obviously been recently refurbished and were clean and comfortable with wifi, air-conditioning and fridge.
Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Would certainly stay again.
Good location with a reasonable price for a family
OleHugoon 13/08/2016 22:47Carlos II was a nice clean hotel with big family room for an acceptable price. They also offered inside parking next to the hotel. Our visit was short since we only stopped by for a concert, but from the hotel we had the time to see the roman theatre and some more. As such the hotel gave great potential for historic walks and trips in the sun, within a reasonable price.

Newytraveller53on 21/06/2016 06:56Very centrally located in Cartegana. It is a little too far to walk to all the major sites without having lots of time. Saying this however the hotel provided a great tour booklet on the key sites that they had prepared. This was fabulous. The ability to park under the hotel was great (in the neighbouring hotel carpark) and to find in the morning our car had been washed was a bonus! The room was quite spacious and comfortable.Very bright and colourful.
