We arrived late one night after a very long drive. We had not made any hotel reservations- our bad!
Another Wawa hotel manager referred us to Lakeview Motel as having the "very last room in town". It might have been better to sleep in our car. The proprietress took full payment for our room and then disappeared for the night. Not only was the room tacky, it hadn't been cleaned. Gross! Really?! Clearly we weren't in a position to complain or get alternate accommodations.
Live and learn. We won't be coming back without hotel reservations and we certainly won't be staying at Lakeview.

Stayed here on our way through to Quebec. I know you can't expect much from small towns, but a coat of paint would help. Thought we were at the bates motel. Everything is old. No AC, but plenty of hot water. My buddy slept with his cloths on he was so worried. Book your Wawa hotel more than a day in advance to get a better place.

We stayed here on our way to a fly-in fishing trip. The hotel is adjacent to a bar, but there were no noise issues. The place was clean, affordable, and a great no-frills motel. I plan on staying here again, and would recommend it. Also, there is a pizza restaurant in the same building that really hit the spot!

NO AC... I repeat NO AC.... Stopped in wawa about 200 km earlier than we should have because of the "double jacuzzi" room my girlfriend wanted...Now Wawa is a big dive in itself and the drive up to this hotel made me want to keep driving...Then we saw the lobby and we were amazed... Kind of heritage it seemed clean so we payed for the room having no idea that it was the only hotel in the 4 countries I have been to that does not have AC... I think the reason they don't have a 100 dollar air conditioner in the window is because they don't have any power outlets... They have what appears to be a vacuum cleaner extension cord multi plug behind the headboard powering everything...the room was clean circa 1980 as though it was renovated exactly 36 years ago yesterday... Bed was comfy and clean... Tub was awesome except we could only take a freezing cold bath because of the extreme heat... No fan... Couldn't turn the halogen lights on in the bathroom for fear of cremating ourselves by adding more heat...if this hotel had AC it would be awesome... If you book a room here in the summer plan to sleep in the car...

We stopped here on our way home on our road trip and it was a nice & friendly little place! We were only here for the night, but we appreciated the fact that there was a bar attached. The bartender was very warm and a great host!
Id definitely classify this more as a hotel vs motel, but has that small town feel.
