Low-Price Hotel for Lake Superior Visiting around Marquette MI
Dequan Con 25/08/2017 04:48Settle Inn & Suites Marquette is a low price and medium level hotel in the Michigan city. The good part is spacious parking lot, close to a super market and easy getting onto Highway US 41 as well as conveniently driving to the city downtown. The hotel carpet, room and pool facility are pretty old while the cold breakfast has no meat at all. The house keeper even failed to refill the shampoo and conditioner for our 2nd day stay - I had to go to the front desk to get those after we came back to the hotel from playing in the evening.

Dan1721on 18/08/2017 01:19This hotel sits just outside downtown, but it is a short drive back to great food and fun. Biggest complaint would be the offered breakfast. Not much of a breakfast, or selection. The staff was great, and they do have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Guest laundry also available here.
do not go here... dishonest, hostile threatened to call police over pet policy
dwynepon 17/08/2017 01:28refused to allow me in the room, claimed cats not allowed but Travelocity and Booking,com app both show they are. After refusing to refund my money they threatened to call the police and yelled at me. The front desk person has no idea what customer service is, or how to treat another human. Don't go here.
Don't bother if you use a third party to book.

Needed a room for the night, booked it on travelocity but when I got there it not only took 20 minutes to talk to the one person working but she didn't know how to look up my reservation even though I had given her all my information, and had already paid for the room. Her only advice was well you shouldn't of used a third party to book a room. I ended up going with motor inn across the street and got in contact with Expedia (owners of travelocity) to cancel my booking, since settle inn couldn't do it, still got dinged for 33 bucks for canceling. It's bs total bs.
Nice hotel
Cheryl Eon 02/08/2017 14:10We stayed at this hotel twice in July. Hotel and room was clean and the bed comfortable. There is a indoor pool and hot tub and continental breakfast. We received a caa/aaa discount during the week when we stayed but they did not offer the discount on the weekend. We would stay here again.
