Helpful people at reception, gave me all the information I needed. It is a great place, near the train station. The room was clean and spatious. From the roof top I had nice view of Sorrento and nearby places.

Bugs, loud music, mean staff

I stayed here for 3 nights. My first reaction was that it was a very nice and clean hostel, and I was excited for my stay. However on the second night my friends and I found that there were house centipedes (or bugs that looked similar) all over the ceiling and walls!! We went to speak to management who angrily came into our room waving a dirty duster around everywhere (spreading dust and dirt around the room) and condescendingly pointing to what they called "gnats" and "dirt" and carelessly dusted them off the walls while screaming at us in Italian. The dead bugs were flung onto my friend's bed (pics below). The third night I was woken up at 11:30pm to music blasting downstairs in the lobby and people singing and screaming. I felt like I was literally sleeping in a bathroom at a club because that's how loud and crazy it was. Needless to say I didn't get any sleep that night. The breakfast was pathetic, just croissants and cereal. I wouldn't recommend this hostel

Wish I could have stayed longer

Starting from the lobby,stairways and to the rooms , everthing is a class apart. I stayed in their 10 bed dorm and truly a stylish place to stay . I would recommend people to base themselves here as it is in the middle of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii so 2 or 3 days here would be perfect . This is located about 10 minutes away in a quiet area from the main town which makes it even more boutique

This hostel is NOT in Sorrento, you must take a train to reach Sorrento.

Because this is the only hostel in the area, we had high expectations of what the atmosphere there would be like. We expected it to be full of young people like ourselves, and for there to be a buzz around the place at nighttime. We were sorely disappointed on this front, as it was very quiet and we didn't get to meet any other travelers.

We had had a long day of travelling before arrival and were anticipating a warm welcome (based on the experience from our previous hostel), but the man and woman at reception were quite cold. However, we were checked in quickly and efficiently.

We stayed in a 14 bed dorm at a great price. The beds were comfortable and each occupant had a large storage unit to themselves. It was not ensuite but there were lots of showers and toilets a few steps down the hall. Both the dorm and the bathroom were clean.

There was a continental buffet for breakfast which was nice - good croissants.

To conclude, I would not stay here again. The facilities are excellent for such a low price, but the atmosphere is poor. I would recommend it to an older group looking for a quiet stay or a family, but as a group of young girls we were looking for a bit more fun - any time spent in the hostel was truly boring.

Beautiful but bad Wifi

As far as hostels go, this is more like a hotel. You'll understand once you see how elaborate the bar area decoration is as well as the patio which has an open roof on nice weather days. The bathrooms are also fairly modern looking and the terrace and bedrooms seem like they should be more expensive than they are.

We ended up extending our stay here much longer than anticipated. Due to multiple late mornings where it was just easier to book another night rather than struggle to find another location. Which probably got really annoying after a while but the staff seemed to handle it alright. And they even gave us a discount regardless which was even nicer of them seeing as we were essentially the worst type of guest!

Location to Sorrento is easily walkable but you can take the train there quickly as well which is closer. I also recommend eating at Da Peppino which is near the station and had great food at affordable prices. But they made a solid cappuccino at this hostel anyways, funny enough even though breakfast is included in the price we never woke up early enough to get it though! I assume it was like croissants, maybe coffee and cereal or something?

Essentially the stay here is easy enough and very easy going staff who are happy to accomplish whatever you need them to get done. The only complaint I have is how abysmal the wifi was here, it was easy to stay connected throughout the building but do anything more than text based browsing and you'd be waiting for ages to get something to load. Don't even bother watching a video you'd be lucky to get a picture to load in under 30 seconds!! Overall it's pleasant but they really need to upgrade the internet service…
