Excellent value for money, superb view
Sandra Son 17/07/2017 10:23We spent two separate nights at Severin and it was a great pleasure. The location of the hotel is perfect with a gorgeous view of Lillebælt and its bridges, easy access in car and the possibility of taking beautiful walks around the hotel in both forests and on the beach.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
The hotel seems newly renovated and is exceptionally clean. The terrace facing the sea is a really wonderful asset, perfect for an afternoon or evening drink.
Breakfast was of a good standard and so was the dinner we had one night (the dessert decorated with pop rocks was especially delightful!).
Rooms are small but cozy and provide everything you need.
The price suggests a much lower standard than what we found - we were pleasantly surprised with everything.
We were only meant to stay one night but came back a few days later because we liked it so much - and we will definitely return in the future when in that area of Denmark.

fair value hotel, close to highway and nice views
Ropreison 04/09/2016 15:11we used this hotel as our starting point for exploring the Funen. The location was practical, because we were on a round trip in Denmark and its only a kilometer from the highway. The rooms are okay. The breakfast restaurant offers a nice view over the water.
Excellent hotel, great service, exceptional food
O7918XPandreadon 12/08/2016 03:36This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is located just a short walk (about 20 minutes) from the center of Middelfart. It has several dining rooms, all of them bright, clean and very pleasant looking. The tables are set beautifully, slightly elegant. Buffet-style breakfast is included, and it is plentiful and delicious, with tasty home-made breads and jams, made fresh each morning by locals, What a treat! A 24-hour a day coffee station is located conveniently in the main lobby. It was great to be able to get coffee, tea or hot chocolate at any time of the day or night.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the bridge and water. The bathrooms are large, and the floors are leveled with the room floor. It seems the rooms are ADA-compliant. The Wi-fi connection is free, and fast. The service of the hotel staff was great, very helpful and courteous.
Next time I am in Denmark, this is the only hotel I will be staying at.
A note of caution when bringing your American credit cards: Unless you have a chip, not all cards are accepted at stores, restaurants or hotels. Europe uses mostly debit cards with PIN use, or cash. You will most likely not have any problems getting cash from an ATM machine, but even on those you may have to try a couple of times before they will recognize your card and dispense the requested cash.
Excellent stay
Jan157on 10/08/2016 22:09When looking in the map, the location so close to a highway didn't seem very attractive but that's quite opposite. The hotel offers a wonderful look from the breakfast room and a lot of places to relax both in nice and ugly weather. Our room was nice, clean and well equipped, with good wifi connection. The staff was friendly, breakfast rich and tasty. There are lots of places around worth seeing, including the town center.
