We rented a 2 bedroom villa . Location was great - so close to El Paseo shopping/dining area that we walked to dinner most nights and had fabulous experiences at all the restaurants. Villa was full unit with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, patio, semi-private pool. Had our own gas grill on back deck which we used several times. Kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils and appliances we wanted, but we had to provide every food item including salt and pepper. Ceilings in both bathrooms above tubs were moldy. Decor was very out of date. Has 16 tennis courts and organized tennis clinics and lessons. Took 3 hour lesson from head pro Caerwyn Evans and we had mixed feelings, some of us really felt they benefited from it, but others did not. Pretty pricey at $400 for 3 hours and at least 45 minutes of that was drills or match play with no instruction. Most of us preferred Dimitri who we took 2 hour lesson from. He provided more individualized instructions to each member of our group. Be careful what you book. A 90 minute private lesson for 4 people is $155 but a 2 hour clinic for 4 people is $320. So pricing doesn't make sense. Had bad experience checking out. We were in a hurry to check out and there is only 1 person at front desk. Person before us was arguing about bill. We finally get our bill and our lesson for the current day wasn't on it. Had to walk over to tennis pro shop to talk to them to get the bill so we could walk back to front desk so we could pay our bill and finally check out. Live ball drills were really fun. Housekeeping and grounds maintenance crews were fabulous. Had grapefruit tree in backyard and ducks in our pool most mornings. Check in was great. Allowed us to check in a little early, but first unit they assigned us did not have 2 king sized beds, they then allowed us to switch to different unit that did have 2 king beds.

Very Well maintained property. Friendly, helpful management and staff. From check in front desk staff, to housekeeping, gardeners, maintenance, tennis personel and Cafe personel everyone has a natural friendliness and always willing to help. All contribute to an excellent vacation experience. On site fitness class such as Pilates, Yoga, stretch class would be a wonderful addition.

The rooms was pretty nice. I would also probably not get a room with the kitchen and lounging area together again. They do have 1 bedrooms. Housekeeping was very good. The tennis instruction was good. But if you don't call ahead to book your tennis there might not be any slots left. Our only problem was that the last nite there (before a 5:45 flight home!) we lost electricity due to them having to shut it off because a shed on the property was locked and they couldn't turn the music off on the outdoor speakers. Consequently we had to light the interior with our technology. We were lucky we woke up! I lost a pair of Rx sunglasses there but have not heard yet.

Spent 2 days with no reservations. Found the best price on TripAdvisor. I was traveling with my daughter who plays high school tennis. She fit in perfectly with Kerwin the tennis director. He took GREAT care to give her private lessons and got her into his high school tennis program. The pool was great. Thanks Kerwin!!!

One of the best and largest pools in the greater Palm Springs area. Love the history behind the resort as well. I like being there in off season when there aren't as many people. It is a lot of fun having a pool that size all to yourself. The staff is very helpful and kind. It is a great Staycation place!
