Great customer service! First of all I was really surprised by the strawberries and champagne as I entered my room. It was delicious!
The room was very nice and clean (the shower wasn’t hot enough, but they quickly fixed it).
The breakfast was pretty good, with a lot of different options.
The cleaning ladies were super nice and every night they knocked on our door just to check if everything was fine, and if we needed something.
The only thing that I thought it could be better was that in my first day I went to the spa when they were about to close and the lady said that she would send me an email with all the prices and treatment options on the next morning but I never got the email. Except that, everything was perfect!

As a Platinum SPG, the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa, is an outstanding and worthy Starwood property. We have only stayed at Luxury Collection properties each year the last 5 years in Europe, so we are admittedly spoiled as to the standard of service and hotel. Doing my best to compare at the Sheraton level.
Service: with a 11 year old and a 5 year old, we especially appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Simply outstanding. Pedro at the front desk was friendly and welcoming at check in. The next day he patiently made adjustments to a complicated reservation with Platinum Starwood (thank you Pedro and Victoria with SPG!). Sara at the Club Lounge was so kind and welcoming to our kids. And a few hours later, she was our amazing waitress at the restaurant. From the staff at breakfast to the spa staff, door men, friendly smiles and great service.
SPG: the Club Lounge was one of the best I have experienced, including wine and great service. Second night, my wife was tired, and not up to going out, called the concierge and local stores were closed, but the lounge had drinks / wine / snacks and it was just what we needed. As Platinum, the included breakfast was quite good. Made to order eggs, fresh made juice, friendly service, full array of items. Our only modest disappointment was to not get upgraded as we have every other Europe trip. Honestly I have found the Sheraton brand to be hit or miss, and this one is one of the top 2 I have stayed at world wide.
Decor: the property has updated contemporary modern decor, rooms and hallways in subdued colors. We appreciated the roomy bathrooms, blackout curtains.
Panorama Restaurant: we loved the food, the service, the views. Surprised at the high quality of this restaurant in a Sheraton brand hotel. Highly recommended.
District: its in the core of the city at large, but not in the heart of the historic districts. You can't walk outside the door and be right in the heart of the historic area. The metro was only a block away, but then uber turned out to be less expensive and easier! Especially with two kids and a stroller. I would say this is the only modest downside is the location. But each uber trip was five minutes and less than 5 euros. We looked at options to be in the heart of the historic district and chose to extend our stay in the Sheraton.
Pool and Spa: the family loves it. A nice out door pool, steam room, a great "relaxation room", and a "vitality jacuzzi". For the adults, the latter had unique options to send massaging jets to the bottom of your feet, and a "waterfall" option to cascade massaging water onto your head and shoulders. Cool.

We had a 3 night stay. 16th floor, quiet place to call home for a few days. The Sheraton looked great, with good staff - nice lobby, pleasant room. everything was right, except...
a) Why couldn't we get a hot shower? Tepid is just not acceptable, is it? We tried to use the shower at different times of day and night - early morning, late morning, afternoon, evening. All the same tepid experience. We did mention it to the front desk, and there seemed to be a slight warming, but certainly never hot! And, yes, we did know how to operate the slighty-confusing shower controls. This seems to be a basic requirement for a hotel of this caliber.
b) Internet connection was really annoying. Every time we returned to the room our devices would re-attach to the hotel wifi. But then it was like 15 minutes before the wifi re-attached to the outside internet. Again, this seems like a big gap, especially for a business-focused hotel.
I like to give good reviews, but this time I just couldn't over-look these issues.

This is a nice hotel and the staff is very helpful and the rooms are well appointed. Not many places to dine nearby, but a ten minute walk will get you near a few restaurants.
Taxis are always available outside the entrance and fares are very reasonable compared to other European countries.

Stayed here for three nights. Hotel is located somewhat off city centre but offers an inside and outside swimming pool which was a main criterion for us. Hotel offers good atmosphere and design and our executive room was good with great views of Lisbon from the 23rd floor. The room type also offered access to the club lounge which was a pleasant daily treat. The Panorama restaurant was disappointing (see separate review) but then again breakfast both in the club lounge and general breakfast area were good. What was a pity were the works going on with the plumbing and as a consequence hot water supply was erratic which you don’t expect in this type of hotel and for this room type and rate. Also, we asked for some accessories which came but next day. All in all okay.
