Great customer service
sunnyg08on 23/08/2017 14:54We arrived in Memphis on July 4th and were only staying one night. When we checked in, we asked for a rooms with a view of the fireworks (it was raining so we were going to watch them from our room). The front office agent was new and very helpful. He assigned a room with a great view. Rooms are ok size, nice and clean. Swimming pool area would be a three star for me. There is no hot tub and the pool area could use extra cleaning. There is no self parking so the only option is valet. Overall, great stay.
Camron - valet
thebstnguyon 22/08/2017 23:55I typically do not carry have cash on me and wasnt able to give a tip to Camron. I explained to him, and he was just a courteous as if I gave him a $20 tip. Camron is a class act and really showed exceptional customer experience.
Great One Night Stay - walking distance to Beale Street!
itravelthereon 22/08/2017 20:57My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel for one night while on the road during a cross country move and it was a great stop! The hotel is just a couple blocks from the Mississippi River and our guest room had a great view of the bridge and the river. The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper was amazing as always and there were tons of fluffy pillows to make you feel like you were sleeping in a cloud. This was one of the most restful nights of sleep we had on this cross country drive, staying at 6 different hotels.
The hotel is walking distance to Beale Street for all the music and food! We had a delicious meal of ribs and all the fixings at Blues City Cafe and enjoyed the walk back listening to the music pouring out of the bars and restaurants along the street.
The next morning we ate at the onsite restaurant and picked the buffet. Plenty of tasty offerings from standard eggs and breakfast meats and breads to fruit, yogurt and cereals. Something for everyone and displayed well.
From start to finish the hotel was comfortable, stylish and well located for a quick one night stay in Memphis. Highly recommend!
Pleasant stay
Jane Lon 21/08/2017 15:27I stayed here for 6 nights during Elvis week 2017. Very impressive when you walk in. Booking in was easy, staff polite. Room very clean and had good view of the Mississippi river. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. It is well situated for buses. The trolley bus stops outside the front door to take you to Beale street or main bus terminal. There is free wifi and the breakfast is good value it is an all you can eat. I would recommend this hotel.
Very Dusty Room
Adrian Son 19/08/2017 17:30Previous reviews have said that rooms are not clean and we found our room very dusty. Most surfaces in room are dusty including leather chair tv stand ice bucket table and lamp near window, carpets need vacuuming especially around edges of room.
Bed is very clean though.
Bathroom and coffee supplies not replenished.
Tram shuttles pass hotel which is good.
