It's in expensive for one adult. This was my second choice after super 8 was full. But if you need somewhere to crash for the night it's alright. TVs good but I wouldn't walk around at night. It's clean and doable.

Worst hotel ever

My family and I left the hotel early one morning and when we came back our key was not working and it seemed like someone had been in our room. The bed was in disarray and there were blood stains. The bathroom was filthy. Someone had a bowel movement and didn't flush. While waiting in the lobby for housekeeping to clean the room, several men came in to rent rooms on an hourly basis. We suspect that they must have rented the room to other people while we were out. The most disgusting experience ever. DO NOT stay at this hotel EVER. Read ALL these reviews. The place should be shut down. Their policy borders on criminal behavior--renting a room that is already rented by someone else. It is a SCAM.

My husband and I, together with 3 family members, checked in at the Sheridan Hotel on Thursday May 18, 2017 and our immediate reaction was a shock due to the dirt in the lobby. When we saw our rooms we realized that they were more filthy than the lobby we could not stay in the hotel. I used my Ipad looking for another hotel in the The reason to stay in the Bronx was because we were attending a funeral in that area.
The elevator was out of order, the connection with the internet was very slow, the TV never worked also the air condition. We had to call the front desk several times to solve the problems but there were not able to correct any of our inconveniences.

While waiting in the lobby for them to clean our rooms we noticed that the hotel charges clients to check in and use the rooms by the hour!

Our family members experience late one night loud discussions among guests and the night after my husband and I experienced the same thing.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and it was a nightmare. Please avoid booking at that hotel.

It is the SHERI-DAN, NOT THE SHERA-TON! This is in a terrible location in the Bronx. Between 3 junkyards and the interstate. The check-in desk was behind bars and the rooms smelled of smoke. On the last day a rat or mouse chewed through my bag and ate a granola bar in the pocket. This was the worst decision and we had low expectations

The website is a false advertisement. The rooms does not look like it's shown in the website. In fact, that is not a hotel for regular citizens looking to relax. The location is a stop for people that needs a few hours to be intimate. They charge by the hours. We checked in at 9p.m and when we arrive to our floor we saw the cleaning lady pushing a shopping cart with the linen, it did not look professional and clean. The place is horrible. I will make a complaint to the hotel business bureau. Is not sanitized. Upon arrival to the hotel there were five couples waiting to pay for the 4hrs room. Myself and my fiance were not happy with the room. That place needs to be shut down. I can't call it a hotel because is a disgrace to call it that. I have pictures of the room. The room were not cleaned, there were only two towels. There were liquor bottles and juice bottles on the window sill. In case of a fire the smoke detector was hanging of the ceiling. The bathroom was not cleaned there were only two pillows no comforter.
