We were in Medford for a monthly get together with friends and needed to stay the night.
Our regular hotel was booked so we thought we'd try this property. It advertises as "pet friendly." When we asked, we were told the pet area is in an adjoining parking lot. No shade. No waste receptacles No nothing...well except for scorching, blacktop and reminders that dogs had used the facility before you and your pet got there.
To pay a surcharge and then have the obvious lack of respect for pets is inexcusable!
We will not be back!

I was road tripping from Seattle back to CA and needed a place to crash for the night as I got a late start on the day. I was able to get their online price match which made it more affordable than Motel 6. The staff was helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Can't ask for much more. I took the breakfast to go as I needed to get back on the road. Breakfast burritos for the win. Overall, I would stay here again and it served its purpose nicely for me. Thanks Shilo.

The most stale, stinky smelling motel I've ever stayed in

They really need to rip up all the carpets and draperies in this place. It was smelly, had a very stale odor when I first came in to check in and the hallways and my room smelled the same. I'm not too fussy about your normal motel smell, but this was terrible. I only stayed because my company booked the room and it was very late.

HORRIBLE!!! SCARY!! Cave like is right!! Elevator that shuts on you and shutters like it will fall. Room was ajar and beds all messed up, people yelling in halls and you could hear people "sleeping" in the next room with rickety doors!! Never will go to any Shilo Inn again!!!I could not believe they dared ask how was our stay!!!! We did not even answer!!!! Go somewhere else!!!

Good hotel. Great location. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was different...but it was good. Everything is help yourself. They have a waffle maker in there and you make your own waffles. They have little refrigerators loaded with milk, juices, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and condiments. I would stay there again...
