Very basic budget hotel
GeorgeTKLon 20/05/2017 09:57Rooms are not clean. Breakfast is toast, eggs and tea/coffee, no other choice. I requested for room with 2 single beds but it was not so.
Staffs are friendly though, but I would not be coming back to this hotel.
Rented 10 rooms
270arnabdon 23/11/2016 19:06Rooms were OK. Rented 10 rooms for an occasion. Breakfast was not at par. Maintenance should be improved. Hotel staffs were nice overall. Location proximity is the best part about the hotel. Very near to Kolkata airport.
Budget hotel more popular as a marriage location
Shuvo_Senon 22/08/2016 09:14Hotel Shivangan is a very basic budget hotel located right on the main road of VIP Road on Joramondir crossing. It is a budget category hotel offering halls for occasions like marriage, reception, birthday parties etc.
Pros:
1. Great location, easily accessible by all modes of communication (rickshaw, autos, bus, taxi) right on main VIP road
2. Rooms are good and well maintained
3. Staff is good and courteous - ready for help always
4. 3 halls available for hosting parties for occasion like birthday, marriage, reception etc.
Cons:
1. Rooms are little small if you have lot of luggage or travelling with a child
2. Food is good but can be improved
3. Lift do not work all the time so can be problem for elderly
Overall a good budget hotel and party venue in a easily accessible location in Baguiati.

Sabyasachi Gon 29/05/2016 10:53The customer service is really great. Food is average. It's close to airport, and you can have good connections to city via UBER. Staff is very helpful. Full recommend for a budget hotel experience!
Ask for a room on the 3rd floor, that's a bit better in my opinion.
For overnight stay only
SumitNagorion 14/02/2016 18:31Stayed here last week as I landed late in the middle of night and had a train to catch in the morning. The place is average and is meant just for overnight stay. The place is very close to the airport (2.5kms from airport).
I wouldn't recommend it to couples even for transit stay. No amenities, just basic small rooms. Reception is in a bad state and the person at the table is very unfriendly. The moment u see his reaction you feel like running away from there. In spite of all of these I found the tariff also to be on the higher side.
Choose it only if you're alone and haven't found any other option.
