maxbeharon 26/03/2017 15:15Good for business, for conferences and conventions, for family weekend's dining and lunches. Breakfast arerage good, but the restaurant Panorama on the top floor is the best one in the city. Not far away from the city center!

edoco1on 21/03/2017 23:05good location with modern stile room, i was there for one day and night but i really want back there and i definitely suggest it for your stay in Shumen, the centre was in few steps, staff cordial and ready to help

Richard Oon 22/12/2016 13:44The hotel looks every bit a five star . The outside however could do with modernising. The rooms were clean and plenty of choices when it comes to food. We ate at the restaurant at the top of the hotel and the food was excellent. Could not fault it

Mircea Son 19/12/2016 18:15The place is from the communist era and it shows it from the entrance to the halls and rooms. It was modernised a while ago and it offers good sleeping quality, good enough rooms and some very good restaurants. Large TVs in the rooms with manny local and international channels.
Lifts are a bit of a problem, too small and insufficient for such a large hotel; also very slow.
Another minus is the indoor pool witch is advertised but closed at least in winter
Friendly staff, decent English so you'll manage to understand them.
For our 4 days-stay in Shumen it was quite ok and I think is one of the only few options in the area...
Important: large parking, important in Bulgaria!
Comfortable business trip
FRANCISOL85on 29/11/2016 14:44Short business trip to shumen brought us to the shumen grand hotel. Rooms nicely decorated but bathroom are not renovated and looks partly broken. Very clean tough! Comfortable beds. Thin walls so it can get loud when people walking by.
Breakfast was ok- coffee from a machine not best quality and not many fruits- but there was still enough choice. Fantastic restaurant on the ground floor. Beautifuly decorated in tipicaly bulgarian style with amazing bulgarian food!
