Best hotel in Barnaul

I've been to Barnaul several times on business over the last 15 years. I have stayed at a few other places and by far Hotel Sibir is the best in Barnaul. The rooms are spacious enough and clean enough. The hotel prices are quite reasonable in comparison to other backwater provincial locations in Russia. The morning breakfast spread is surprisingly good. The staff is friendly enough. Its Russia...
Attached to the Hotel Sibir is Krem... which is basically a bar/coffee house open 24/7... if you are in there spending money, they are open... lovely place to get morning beers at 0700 Barnaul time and not be judgmentally looked down upon.

Everything was normal but for this price you can find better places to stay. Location is really good and stuff is helpful.They have comfartable rooms but not so luxury.I would like to try another hotels in my next journey to this small city..

Helpful front desk staff. Very clean room and bathroom. Close to Main Street and central to shopping strip. Generous range of food for breakfast . Room was very comfortable with desk, table and ample wardrobe space. Free WiFi with no problems connecting!

Confortable place for business

This place is perfect for business trip: 30min from airport, downstairs you could find a restaurant and a nice bar to chil a bit. Price is even ok. Clean and the bed is confortable. The people in the reception are friendly even they don't speak really well english.

Very Good in Siberian Standards

We stayed in this hotel twice: during our first night of 9 days long South Siberia trip and our last night. As during our first stay, we knew nothing about service and comfort standards of this region, our impression was that it was just okeyish and rather dull. But after having spent more than a week in the area, during our second stay we understood it was indeed a great hotel in Siberian standards. The rooms were spacious, equipped with all amenities you need in a hotel: shampoos, extra towels, shoe shine, slippers.... But still, there is nothing fancy in the rooms, just basics. Hotel lobby and reception are better decorated than the rest of the hotel. The service is very friendly and swift. During our second stay, we had to leave the hotel very early in the morning (around 5 am) and they had prepared us breakfast to go, it was very nice of them. There is free wi-fi in the rooms. As our room was not on the street side, we experienced no noise problem at all. Breakfast served in the restaurant is rich and satisfactory. Given Siberian standards, this is a very good hotel....
