Several out of town business people related to the recent flooding in the area booked the motel, but refused to stay after viewing the dirty rooms. Horrible conditions Traveled to Lake City to stay. Would not recommend!!!

Awfulness

If you don't mind roaches, mold, no towels/ washcloths, rude receptionists, random people outside, dirty floors and thin walls then this is the place for you. I woke up at 5am to use restroom and I swear a roach was hatching babies...they were crawling everywhere...I killed 6 in one setting...So I left the light on and sat straight up in the bed...definitely don't recommend this place to no one

People coming in and out all night long on the second floor, smells like people smoking weed.
Towels were old and spots.
Windows leaked when it rained
Power went out and the hotel had no lights two people fell and we ask the front desk for there light but they would not help.
The cleaning staff and two of the desk staff were very nice and tried to help us but their hands were tied because of the hotel manger.
This could be a very nice middle class hotel if it was cleaned up.

OMG!!! THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL! IT IS NOT DECENT ENOUGH FOR A HOMELESS PERSON!!!

Had to be moved 3x due to roach infestation but ended up with same problem along with mold on bathroom wall, mold and statins on carpet. I didn't want to walk on floor with ShOeS on! Stank rooms! Gross

In earlier years, My family and I would frequently stay at this establishment when it was the Best Western Hotel. Back then , it was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch after a long day visiting relatives in the country. But now - OMG! I cannot believe that the State Inspection managers have not shut this place down because it is functionally uninhabitable! Who is issuing the licenses around here? The towels and washcloths were stiff and did not appear to be clean. The furnishings in the rooms were worn and outdated, The bed linen was not up to par. The lighting was poor. And the prices are NOWHERE near what it is worth! The location of this hotel is convenient for travelers passing through. There are a couple of "strip" malls nearby, and a small-scale restaurant (Huddle House) across the street. Under the right conditions, this hotel could possibly be a good business venture for a smart, caring, investor. But the current conditions are deplorable. Unfortunately, I have found it necessary to travel ALL the way to Florence, SC for lodging. But it's worth the trip. I will be not subjected to filthy accommodations!
