Unexpectedly good!!
Christiana Mon 26/07/2016 07:52I have been there on May for almost a week with my friend. It's a small hotel, quiet, very clean, with a simple but good breakfast, great location (next to the train station, and very closed to Agia Sofia and Blue Mosque), helpful staff but not always very friendly, free wi-fi but in case you don't have a laptop with you and you need to use one, the hotel cannot offer you, very simple rooms, good price. Very good for business trips, for turists who don't really want to stay inside the hotel for many hours, but not ideal for kids. (the photo is taken from the window of my room. The Golden Horn)
Good for Budgeters
88DanielZ88on 13/07/2016 17:51Been there during hot days of last year's summer
Rooms are small, not equipped with AC units and look clean...ish
Breakfast was good, the turkish tea served with different sortiments of sweets had me enjoying it.
A short stay here is acceptable
Excellent deal!
Christiane94on 02/06/2016 09:41Small hotel located on a quiet street, less than a 10 mns' walk from Hagia Sofia. Incredibly reasonable prices. Small room, but very clean. Good breakfast and helpful staff who speaks English and German.
Pretty good value for money
Dijana2014on 25/04/2016 14:57To set it straight, this is a cheep hotel and don't expect luxury. For the money room is sufficient, clean and comfortable. You don't really need anything else but the bed, toilet, closet and tv. The street is small and dark but the sleep is good and quiet. Staff frendly, not good at english in the night shift but ok during the day. The city is amazing, rich, spicy...so visit Bazar, shops, try baklava - only the original is with walnut. I was thrilled with rahat. And you must sit down and drink their tea and dont give more than 1-2 dinars because it's a rip-off (ask for the price first!)
Good luck!
I am still having nightmares from this stay
Cristian Bon 08/03/2016 14:55Everything was a nightmare: the room was tiny and dark as a cave. The sheets were dirty and the toilet was also dirty - we showered with care, not to take a disease. The staff at the reception, actually the owners were a monument of rudeness, as I have never seen in my trips. Do not get fooled by the low rates, the hotel does not diverse a penny, on the contrary, they should pay you for putting you through this nightmare. The worst stay in my life, ever, I stayed at better hostels than this. I do not know how the Turkish authorities tolerate this on the market. Istanbul is a nice city but everybody is trying to cheat you with something. Huge disappointment for the travelling industry this hotel.
