Arundhati Ghosh
Arundhati Gon 15/07/2017 19:35Warm, friendly, magical and exciting...all this describes both Varanasi and Hotel Sita GH. The charming owner, Saurabh Sharma is extremely hospitable and takes very good care of the guests.. the services of the staff - Manoj, Rahul, Yadav ji are filled with warmth and love.. Rakesh ji (my favourite person during my stay), who is also the owner's Man-Friday, makes HSGH a "home away from home"... Sitting for hours at the rooftop restaurant facing the magnificent Ganges and the mystical ghats between Manikarnika and Assi, or simply staring into the sky at nights, makes one nostalgic, romantic and pensive all at once! This is one of the best places to stay at Varanasi.. go for it !!
The beneras experience
Gautam Son 17/06/2017 20:49This guest house is literary on the river. It has its own ghat. I would rather say,the best way to experience banaras is by staying at this hotel.
The only cons is a lot of stairs. No elevator. But the experience of stay overcompansates this inconvinience. Special mention to be done is about the rooftop resturent. Sunrise and sunset from there are simply fabulous.
Its a hotel on Ganges
rajiv son 27/05/2017 07:56I have travelled to Varanasi quite a number of times. I am very fond of photography and Varanasi is one of my favourite subject. Last time we stayed at Hotel Sita Guest House.
It basically on the river , we choose a suit with a balcony facing Ganga, mind blowing. Food on the rooftop restaurant was very good , lots of foreign travellers also prefer the hotel because of its position. Staffs are very well behaved and are always trying to satisfy you.
Fantastic location and welcoming staff
Radko Kon 20/05/2017 16:20Ganga view from roof top terrace. Owner Mr. Saurabhji is very friendly always ready to help their guests. He will gladly advise and if required, arrange a city guide. For example, arranged for me to travel to the city Bodhgaya.
GANGA View 24/7
AMANPREMIKAon 23/04/2017 15:17This is one of the best places in Varanasi for its location, the Ganga view from some of the rooms, the phantastic roof top terrace - and, if he happens to be around - for its kind owner, Saurabhji, who will do his absolute best to make your stay memorable ! If you are interested, ask him to arrange for some music & dance performance on the roof terrace ... he did that for our group and that evening was one of the highlights of our trip :) Furthermore, if you need a guide, Rakeshji is doing a great job and will be able to answer many of your questions around Varanasi and its yogic traditions. Besides, Sita Guest House is very close to the main evening Aarati, it´s just a short walk along the Ganga :) The food on the Roof terrace is surprisingly good, too. Just make sure you book a room with Ganga View as the ones in the back may be rather disappointing - unless you are happy with an economical option in a great location ;) And two more things: be careful with the monkeys !!! AND you may want to use their pick up / drop off service as any hotel within the old city is DIFFICULT to reach ...
