An very nice business dinner with excellent food. The atmosphere at the hotel is nice and relaxed - just what you need after an day with business meetings.
There is no bar but the reception has excellent local beer and there is an nice lounge area just next to the reception.

Skanderborg Park is set in beautiful parkland with superb views of the lake beyond. Lovely for a drink outside on a summers evening.
I am uncertain if this hotel offers dinner, we ate out elsewhere. The hotel appears to be aimed at business travellers and is comfortable enough. Breakfast is provided as a plentiful buffet - the Danes do bread very well!
When I stayed here there were building works, and I was a bit surprised that hotel guests were asked to negotiate various trip hazards and broken glass to walk past them.
The bed was a bit hard for me, I prefer them much softer.

Stayed here on business for a few nights
Very nice location next to the lake. Good views. Rooms nice and big, very clean. Friendly staff.
One thing to note, the resteraunt does not have a menu. It's a set menu with one main course and either a starter or desert.
The bar is the reception but they have a nice selection of beers
Other then that the hotel is nice a perfectly fine for a short stay

Huge rooms. Very delicious breakfast. Small sauna, pool, table tennis. Very cosy everything. A place where you can easily relax and calm down.
Cam only recommend it. You need a car to get into the city centre to other restaurants.

I have stayed there a couple of times (10x). Service is obliging, rooms a ok, not large but everything available incl. WiFi and water boiler. TV could have more stations.
Breakfast and dinner are much better than standard. Beds are ok, and it is really quite! Surrounding landscape is very nice to take a walk or even run. Skanderborg is quite nice if you want to dine or visit a typical Danish town.
