Buyer beware. We booked a 2brm spacious suite with Sofabed and Pool view for 4 people, which was confirmed by the owner, however when we arrived after 30hrs travel time we were told they'd made a mistake! Our room had been given to someone else. The room we were then given was so tiny, with a small kichenette, not enough cutlery or plates etc. No sofabed and no apology or compensation for the downsize of accommodation type. It's on a main road, so very busy and noisy. The breakfast is laughable a choice of toasted devon sandwiches or chocolate crossoints wrapped in plastic and Banana tea. The owner is quite loud, abrupt and intimidating to say the least. 3 star accommodation, only gets 1 star from us and thats for location only!

We stayed at Sky of Thira for 2 weeks, my husband and 14 year old daughter and myself. This was a great central base to stay for travelling around the island, beaches to the South and Oia to the North and Caldera view just minutes away. The apartments are nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast each morning was served poolside and was very pleasant with a lovely view to the South. The owner George, and staff Thomas and Laya are really nice people. Thira/Firostefani is a busy place with lots of scooters all part of the charm of Santorini. Enjoyed seeing the donkeys each evening returning to their farm after their days work.

The owner, George, is SO rude!! I've never stayed in a place with such terrible customer service! When my friend and I arrived, they told us that we're going to have to switch rooms after our first night. Having to wake up at a certain time on our holiday to pack our bags and switch rooms is simply not ok. Had we known this, we never would have booked at this hotel. When we protested, George shouted his point saying that he upgraded us for free into the two bedroom suite (as we booked a standard room with a double bed). We couldn't care less about the "upgrade". If we needed two rooms, we would have booked two rooms. The next morning just before 10am, they're knocking on our door telling us we need to get out. We kept telling them we'll be out in an hour but they came to our room again to push us out, called my friend and then George came to our room a THIRD time and was shouting at my friend. Judging from the reviews, they tend to overbook frequently. This is completely unacceptable. If it wasn't for the way we were treated, we would have been perfectly happy with he accommodations except the AC units in both rooms didn't work and the breakfast hardly counts as such.

traffic noise, basic breakfast, staff rather gruff, location a bit far from restaurants, and most of all a price not so good value compare with hotels in the neighbourood with more friendly people at the lobby!

Very noisy because at a crossroad with people driving fast.
The swimming pool is ridiculous small.
And most of all nobody at the reception most of the time... and when there is somebody staff very unhelpful and nasty...
Not a good place to stay!
