It was a tale of two rooms, my mothers was OK, even though it stunk of smoke and was a no smoking room.
My room had a broken bathroom door, a missing smoke alarm (also stunk of smoke in a no smoking room), an A/C that sounded like an idling tank and an infestation of cockroaches on the night stand!
The rooms were small but well presented.

Dont stay here!

Worst motel experience ever! First of all, the man at the desk was trying to charge me every price but what was listed on the big sign out front. It says $38.99 weekly rate. Since this was a Tuesday night, that should apply. He said it didnt, but finally agreed on that price. I should have left then but was very tired from traveling. Room was very hot and stunk. No handle on shower door, towel rack had come out of the wall and was re-screwed into wall - at an angle - below the holes in the wall where previous screws had been, ironing board with no iron, and hair dryer did not work. Most importantly, the door did not lock properly. Checked in around midnight and finally left about 4:30 a.m. Could not sleep due to how hot the room was. Air conditioner was not cooling the room off despite setting it on 60 degrees. When I checked out, I asked for a refund and the man at the desk, who is the one who had checked me in, said I would have to talk to a manager. Horrible place!

Not good.

Dirty sheets, dirty pillows, hot room, window was open when we walked in, dents/holes in walls, stains everywhere, and the door would not lock!!

Convenient To Airport

This was a clean, quiet motel only a few minutes by car to Jackson Airport. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly and efficient. No frills but a good bargain for convenience to the airport. A large shopping mall with restaurants is only a few minutes away. Computer with Internet access is available. Even has a bird cage with several birds in the lobby to add color. About an hour to Vicksburg and two hours to Natchez, two good tourist sites. Recommended for budget travelers needing to be near the Jackson Airport.

Not so bad, but needs improvement

Passing through for the night. Rates were decent, used a coupon to stay here. Lady at the desk that checked me in was very polite and courteous. Rooms were very small and needed updating. TV did not work through out the night and there was no light bulb in one of the fixtures. Breakfast was ok, pretty much average. Parking lot not very bright and the employee in the morning checking me out was in a rush for some reason. Overall, its good for a one-nighter.
