Surprise Value

Great place for us! We frequently stay here. We're accustomed to European rooms for size. Sleep Inn's rooms are cozy but more than adequate, not small or tight. Clean, refrig, micro wave. The mattress has been the best with the quality being consistent each time - arthritic back. The staff is enjoyable. The place is clean and orderly. Snacks, soup available if arriving late in the afternoon. The morning fresh made, home cooked omelets, fresh fruit, waffles, cold cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs and more. . . ALL included at a very competitive price. Easy to find, near Interstate. We don't understand the negative commentary . . . . We take family and friends along. A great place to spend the night and start the day. . . month after month year after year. Yes, it is a budget motel.

HORIBLE HOTEL & MANAGEMENT

brittanysalazaron 28/07/2017 06:29

The rooms were small. They pre authorized my card & my wife's card over 400 dollars for a 2 might stay that costed only 180.00. My card was not supposed to be on the account it was only used to buy from their concession stand 9.50, Sheri the so called manger then swiped my card the next day we went to go eat out n my card got declined because there was over 100 pre authorization for the sleep in. When I questioned the manger Sheri she told me I didn't swipe your card. When I asked her then how did my card get on the account she stood there denying the hole thing then had the audacity to say I will not be barked at. Well sherri maybe if you would focus on one customer at a time n not multiple things at once n did your job correctly you wouldn't have me & other customers "barking" at you! The sad part was two additional familys had the same problem we did! The pool is ICE cold & beyond dirty. Also Sheri denied to provide me corporates number as well she told me to go online n I told her no she is going to provide it to me. We had 5 dollars to our name because of her mess up n she could care less. Pathetic management! When we first got checked in our keys to the door did not work Sheri switched out our keys twice before giving us a new room. NEVER AGAIN WILL MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND I CINSIDER THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

The pregnant front desk girl & the breakfast lady were extremely nice & friendly! They got great omlets!

At least it was cheap

So I am inherently cheap, my wife less so (bless her for that). I chose this hotel based on the price-that should have been a warning sign. The reviews on this site and others were OK, but mention the size of the rooms, and cleanliness. I would have to agree. The sleeping rooms are very small. Very little room between beds or next to the bed. The bathroom is tiny. But I think what made it worse is the hotel is....tired. The paint around the doors is in need of significant touch up. The carpet in the room and hallways is stained. The comforter was ripped and stained. There is a space in the desk where there used to be a fridge- now it's an empty hole. The breakfast was OK- nice to have an omelet station. We booked for two nights on another site...and can't get a refund but we are leaving anyway.

It was ok...

My mom and I stayed here on a return trip from Colorado back to Texas. I didn't have too high expectations but I figured if anything the customer service would be at least decent. Well it was just ok.
We were traveling with my 5 week old and upon check in we requested a crib. The gentleman at the counter said they should have one and would send it up. We went to our room in an elevator that smelled highly of chlorine and arrived on the third floor. The room was clean and looked as though it had recently been redecorated. Although, some aspects had just been left from the original decor, i.e. the shower door and light switches. I also noticed a whistle in the room. Upon listening further I realized it was the window. I went to close it and found out it doesn't lock, can be completely opened and has no barrier to prevent children from falling from the third floor.
When my mother and I finally settled in from brining in luggage we turned on the tv to find it didn't work. I notified the front staff and someone came to promptly fix the problem. At that time I inquired about the crib we were still waiting on. He said he would check on it. He did not.
I left the room to pick up dinner and stopped at the desk. The front clerk was playing with a hand sanitizer bottle as though he was mesmerized. I asked once again about the crib. He replied "oh yeah... the other lady asked about it. I guess it's broken. So I don't think we have one..." I had to reaffirm that they indeed did not have a crib.
The lack of communication and customer service continued through our stay. Once again I didn't have high expectations for our stay but I did expect basic customer service which is not something we received...

Nice hotel

We've stayed at a couple of Sleep Inns before. Mainly because of the great price. We thought we would try this one while we were passing through on our road trip. Didn't disappoint. Everything was nice and clean here. They had a good breakfast including a sausage and cheese omlette. Also had waffles, juice, milk, coffee, tea, cereal and some pastries. Pool looked nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Would stay here again.
