Little off the beating path

Sleep Inn is away from downtown but not far, walk down and walk up to hotel. The pool area is great with glassed in so you can swim when its raining. Friendly front desk ladies, away helped with all our questions.

It's ok

The room itself was newly updated and wasn't bad at all. If the only thing you need/want is a good room then make your reservation. However, the free breakfast is kind of a joke. They have the usual free breakfast items but just not in the same quantity that you get at other hotels. The "dining area" is WAY too small to make making and eating breakfast pleasant. There are only a few (like 5-6) small tables to sit at. I'll try and put it into perspective for you. The size of the dining area which includes the food area and the 5-6 tables is literally the size of a small 1 car garage. We went down there around 9:00am and there was around 20 people in the dining area. Very crowded. We waited 15 minutes to use the waffle and pancake irons because there really wasn't much else to choose from. The pool isn't bad and it has a really small lazy river next to the pool. It's about a block off the main drag in Gatlinburg which isn't too bad.

Diamond Tour Smokey Mountain Trip

I sponsored a Diamond Bus Tour to Gatlinburg. We stayed here at the Sleep Inn... GREAT hotel.... Great service... Great Breakfast!! I will be doing another tour in 2018 and I will be requesting this hotel again. It is also close to a trolley stop so people that want to go our after our tours are through can go back downtown... or just walk to to town. We had a GREAT stay. William Janoske

Disappointed

booked a room with my employee discount, got there to find this room (although updated ) was EXTREMELY small, like so bad that it almost made me go into a panic from being clostrophobic, super disappointed they didn't upgrade me considering im an employee. other than that, lady at check in was awesome, super nice and informing, breakfast was pitiful but they had donuts so I wont complain. :) pool and hottub was awesome. we had a room with a balcony right by the road so it was super loud even at night when youre trying to sleep. overall an okay stay... just wish our room was bigger.

Good value

The room was very large. We wanted a king bed, this had a jacuzzi which we didn't need. It had a sofa and chair. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would upgrade the pillows and the towels were fine, but thin. It was very adequate. We did not use the pool, but we might another time. The staff were super nice and friendly. The breakfast area was too small, but the choices were good. I liked having boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and waffles, toast, pastries. It was a little too far from the restaurants and stores, but the trolley stopped there and it gave you a nice walk.
