Traveling with kids
traverseusaon 26/07/2017 14:04We were just passing through on our way to FL. We tried to book room in several other cities nearby, but with a huge baseball tournament in town and everything else booked, we were directed to the Sleep Inn in Caves City.
We were very pleased with the room. We got in at midnight and left at 4:45 am so we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities. The room was nice. We had two double beds and they had a roll-away waiting for us. The bed was fine and comfortable.
We got up very early to get on the road but checked out the free breakfast before leaving to see if there was anything we could take for the ride. The kids grabbed a couple mini muffins which they liked.
First night of our road trip
Robert Con 24/07/2017 23:00We were on a road trip from the beach in Alabama to northern Maine and back. Our first stop was Mammoth Cave NP. We got into Cave City with no plans and no hotel. We drove around and looked at a few other hotels and decided on asking at the Sleep inn. The price was good and they have a good hot breakfast which saved us some money. After dinner we let the kids swim for a while. They enjoyed it. Our room was a suite with two queens and sofa bed. We had a bunch of kids with us. The room was big enough, clean and everything worked. The TV had a good assortment of channels and the beds were comfortable. We felt safe enough leaving our cooler and supplies on the tailgate rack in the parking lot overnight and we had no issues. We enjoyed the stay and the price was great for what we needed and got. The hot breakfast was a plus and probably saved us a forty dollar breakfast. We only looked at hotels with pools and hot breakfast for most of the rest of the road trip after this hotel. We enjoy Choice Hotels and stayed in several on this trip. We also stayed in several on our previous road trip and found them to be what we needed.
Very nice hotel and close to Mammoth Cave & restaurants
PLT01on 24/07/2017 21:57Our room was clean and comfortable. Can't beat a free breakfast with good options and a very friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located close to the caves, interstate, local restaurants and shopping districts. Would stay here again.
Great hotel in close proximity to the caves
Timothy Ron 22/07/2017 18:26Sleep Inn at Cave City is clean and well maintained. Our room was very comfortable and the amenities were better than expected. The free breakfast includes hot foods (the kids loved the waffle maker) and the pool, while small, was a hit for our daughter.

Heather Ron 21/07/2017 03:18The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very personable and accommodating. The fitness center features cardio equipment. The breakfast is well prepared and offers variety. Definitely recommend this hotel.
