What People are saying

Great Stay

beachbird123on 04/07/2017 03:28

This Sleep Inn was really nice. The location is terrific and easy to get to. There are plenty of eating choices right next door or a short drive. The room was immaculate. The staff was very friendly and very professional. The breakfast was really good, with lots of choices. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. It was nice to have enough pillows. The person taking care of the breakfast area was really good to ensure that everything was filled and cleaned. The price was really good also.

Good rate, pleasant stay

The hotel is nice for the price you pay. We needed a particular room grouping so I called in lieu of booking on-line and they gave me exactly what was needed and at a better rate.

The location of the hotel is good as it is off a major highway with a variety of restaurants and stores nearby. We stayed on the second floor which was easily accessible by stairs or the elevator.

Room service did a great job of keeping our room tidy and when we requested they leave extra towels and coffee, they did so for the rest of our stay. The only downfall is that there is mold on the inside of the shower doors that needs to be taken care of. We had two rooms and the mold issue was in both. The bathrooms are quite small with only a toilet and shower as the sink/mirror combo is in the bedroom. We did have an issue with the refrigerator humming - which we only noticed at night when it was quiet - and decided to unplug it before going to bed.

The breakfast buffet is o.k. but could be improved, but for the price, it is what is expected. They served a variety of yogurts, cereals, apples and oranges - never bananas - always link sausage which didn't taste like real sausage to me. Eggs are small omelets with cheese inside. Rounding out the menu are hard-boiled eggs, juices, coffee, toast, and danish. There is a waffle maker. For some reason the coffee in the room tasted better than at the breakfast bar. There are cookies in the lobby in the evening. After two days of the breakfast bar we were left wanting something more.

Overall it was an average stay.

Misleading reservation information

thill89on 19/05/2017 02:21

My husband called the phone number on Sleep Inn's website and thought he was speaking to someone in the reservations department.....little did he know his call was somehow routed to Priceline without his knowledge! The result was he was booked in a NON-REFUNDABLE room (this was not disclosed to him on the phone) AND his receipt was not emailed to us as they said it would be. Since this was a business for which he needs to be reimbursed, that was certainly problematic. The hotel staff was no help at all--what a farce!

Pleasant experience!

This hotel was a clean and quiet facility. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and tasty. This is close to many local eateries and I-81. If in the area, would most certainly stay here again!

Tacky and Old Hotel

Diana Ton 27/11/2016 15:49

A friend and I checked in for one night on our way home to Atlanta..front desk guy was bored and not helpful at all. The room smelled like smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel...tiny closet bathroom with the sink in the bedroom area. The king bed had an old tattered spread..the next morning, the elevator is broken, so can't get downstairs for breakfast..and stuck in our room on the 3rd floor waiting for the elevator to be repaired so we can check out. .HORRIBLE place...there are lots of other hotels off Exit 19...Don't stay at the Sleep Inn....HORRIBLE!!
