Comfortable Rooms in Douglas WY

Just got into town (Douglas WY) and found Sleep Inn & Suites. Very cordial, friendly staff. Fast check-in, luggage carts available (important when you have lots of luggage). Priced right too. Pleasant suite with king bed and pull-out couch. Nicely decorated. This is my first time staying at a Sleep Inn & Suites, but it won't be my last.

This place is awesome. The staff are fantastic. My truck broke down in the middle of a -20 degree storm in the parking lot of this place and the maintanence chief Jim, dropped what he was doing to assist. He used his personal tools to help me fix the problem and even crawled under my truck in the snow to fix the issue. He came and found me! I did not ask for assistance. Jim is an awesome person who cares about the guests! I took the time to read the few poor reviews and trust me, even if they were true at the time, it is not the case now. Rooms clean, bed comfortable, breakfast awesome. The lady in the dining room was constantly cleaning the place.the staff at this place are on point!

First off the elevator smelled like an ash tray when I arrived and the next day. The room was minamal for features or decorations. The bathroom had damaged sheetrock, hair in the tub, a pile of hair by the tub on the floor, the sink was dirty and the mirror was dirty. Whoever tried to paint had it on the counter, door and trim. Very shabby work. There was something clanking outside my window all night. The breakfast was not very appatizing. The bacon was see through! Seriously! I told the desk person I don't normally complain but this was bad. All they could do when asked about discounting the bill was 10%. This was only like $8 savings! I Will not stay here again.

a nice hotel in a quiet town

The front desk guy was very helpful and kind. The hotel is conveniently located close to some fast food and a few minutes drive to supermarkets.
My husband didn´t like the hotel much. Walls are thin though so you hear the guests in the next room. We used their coin operated washing machines. Breakfast is the same as everywhere else in the US for the same price range hotels.

Would not be my first choice next time.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for one night during our cruise trip from South Dakota to Denver.
The bed was so uncomfortable so that I woke up with aches all over my body after the sleep. The pillows were to hard so I couldnt use them.
There is to much noise between the rooms so we could hear the TV in the next room and people talking in normal voice.
WIFI is slow but usable.

The gym is good and the breakfast was nice.
