We stayed here for one night as our flight into Fort Lauderdale was very late. We drove to our Palm Beach destination in the AM. The smell of mildew hit us when we walked into the lobby and was worse on the second floor and in our room. We actually said to each other that we feared having some type of respiratory issues from staying there. The bed was comfortable and the linens quite nice. Breakfast was aweful....fake inedible eggs. We checked out early to get some fresh air.

It was a Saturday and the check in took forever because there was only one clerk at the desk. They knew they were fully booked and should have had more help. The staff was friendly and on the ball, there just weren't enough of them. We waited at the airport for an hour and a half for the transport van. We certainly didn't enjoy waiting again to check in.

Excellent stay as always. Huge showers, clean linen and room. Nice furniture pieces. Great cable channels- more than most, great wifi. Nice hotel staff. it's one of favs. Building is being painted, etc

The hotel is in a mess while under construction. We were assured that the renovation would be done prior to our stay. That was not the case and it was filthy! The room was better, but the carpet was very dirty and the room smelled musty. The shower was very nice.
The breakfast was awful. Very poor food choices, terrible quality. We actually went to a restaurant on our second morning instead of included breakfast.

So I️ just happen to work at a sleep inn and I️ expect a certain level of professionalism when I️ visit other choice properties. I️ didn’t receive that at this property. It is staffed with rude front desk employees. Working quickly to get you out of there hair as fast as possible as if you were intruding on there day. Hotel looks as if it’s being renovated however there’s no equipment around. Rooms are updated, nice walk in showers. No tubs. but carpets are a reck With stains and paint. Pillows on couches need replaced. Beds were super comfortable which is probably the only thing room wise that was nice. In my opinion this hotel wouldn’t pass a choice inspection at its current condition. Come on sleep inn Fort Lauderdale get your act together. Your on a gold mine, start treating your customers like gold.
