Great property, BUT
dinky3251on 29/04/2017 01:411. No running water until 9pm!
I would have appreciated being told when I arrived to check in at 3pm, instead of after arriving settled in my room and unpacked After a long 10 hour drive, I wanted nothing more than a hot shower and bed. I should have been given the option to look elsewhere for a room. The "5 minutes" became 6 hours.
2. Breakfast selection was the norm but the hot dishes were not even room temperature, except for the waffles you can make yourself.
Sorry, cold food at a hot buffet only fills a garbage can, not a belly.
Otherwise, the room and hotel appointments were of higher quality than I'd expected. Very quiet. Nice linens. Very clean.
An overall very good experience
azroxxon 11/04/2017 16:37I was exhausted from driving all day and I looked ahead on the map when I chose Fort Stockton as my destination. I did a quick search on the Internet and found this hotel with pretty good ratings so I online booked thru the hotel website.
I arrived at 10 PM check-in was quick and there are very few food options within the immediate vicinity for this late at night, but if you're willing to travel there are some fast food joints within a few miles.
The breakfast set up was above average and I thoroughly enjoyed the full breakfast offered.
My pillows and bed were of quality almost to rival Marriott brand, the room was clean and quiet and had a fridge and microwave and they small 4 cup coffee pot, the towels were large and good quality and the shower was very nice to feel after a long days driving
Good place to flop on long drive
Utah-CaliforniaMatton 16/03/2017 18:49We crashed here after a long day on a long road trip. The hotel is great for that. It is clean, friendly, and a perfectly adequate place to crash. The free breakfast is good and includes waffles in the shape of Texas! It is good for contractors and frequented by roughnecks. However, I find roughnecks to be good neighbors. They fall asleep quietly and soon and leave early.
Decent hotel
Don_Chattanoogaon 02/03/2017 18:02We have stayed at this particular hotel previously but its been 4 or 5 years since we last stayed in Ft. Stockton. It wasn't long ago that you only had maybe 3 or 4 hotels in the entire town, now there must be at least a dozen. Ft. Stockton has grown considerably since our last visit.
This hotel is your average Sleep Inn, the rooms are decent size, beds reasonably comfortable, the staff is always willing to help and make recommendations for places to eat and they offer the normal amenities at this price point including your average continental breakfast. All in all nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel has gotten a little pricey compared to the last time we stayed, but was still somewhat cheaper than many other hotels in Ft. Stockton and had decent reviews.
If we had to stay in the area again, would not hesitate to stay here again.
Very comfortable
MAChiverson 13/02/2017 03:33We were exhausted after driving 24 hours and were just looking for someplace comfortable to sleep. The room and beds were very cozy and although we had an alarm set for 3am did not want to get up (which is a very good sign!) This hotel beat my expectations and I would definitely sleep at another Sleep Inn again!!
