Get what you pay for
Travis Non 18/05/2017 01:44If you are looking for a place to put your head for a night this isn't the worst. However, we found our towels were torn, the bed cover was ripped, wallpaper was peeling, room smelled stale and hallways had smoke like a casino even though they claimed it was "No Smoking". Not a great place for more than one night
Weekend stay
Frances Kon 23/06/2016 18:46Didn't know it was also Senior Living, it was pretty clean but if you go into the hallway it was very Hot. No Air in Hallways, or elevators. Did not see any bugs as someone said. I left my Phone Charger but for 2 days they said it wasn't turned in by housekeeping, surely housekeeping had to see it it, cause it was plugged into the socket that was visible. On the 3rd day they found it, they send it back, of course I paid for the return, which was fair. But at first I got the feeling someone was going to keep it. The hotel clerk whom checked us in was very friendly.
Drive by Don't bother
Jamie Son 09/06/2016 22:59This guy is wacked...turning this into a "senior living' facility yet still renting by the night or week to keep the cash coming in. The brochures are a total lie and the help worried about the failure of this place. No maintenance to speak of, too many dogs here..we had flea bites on are ankles just from sitting in the living room area. Old, musty rooms that are way over priced. Don't put your senior loved ones here, please.
If you like it hot and roaches stay here
Holly Con 25/05/2016 06:18Family of five staying with two full beds and pull out couch for extended stay.... Our air conditioner went out first week. They moved us four times to different rooms ( big hassle) still keeping our original room because other rooms could not accommodate us we have three kids and they kept giving us two rooms unexceptable. My husband and I want to be with our kids in room comparable to what we pay for. The last two night we have slept in our original room its like a sweet shop. Workers know, management knows, owner knows and tonight they said we have to stay in our hot room it was so hot we were even willing for two room option. I even had employee come up tonight and he said he was sweating even being in our room.worker said we have to stay in our room tonight...again unacceptable!!!! Worker even said he was hot in our room. I said roaches because one room they moved us to had several roaches in bathroom and one ran across the t.v when I was watching it.. I think owner doesn't care about his customers unless they are elderly. Don't stay here with family!
It's a Senior Living Center
Travel_Luvon 16/05/2016 06:05Despite the rough reviews, it was clean with friendly staff. We had no bugs or anything broken. The TV has excellent cable, but its an old tube tv, and there werent near enough outlets for all of our technology like you find in newer places. We made due. Right at the speedway and 20 minutes from University of North Texas. Our trip was for CUSA Softball Championship games. Cold air conditioning, free parking, free EXCELLENT Wifi. Bad - the breakfast was all carbs, and only the waffles are do it yourself hot. There are fresh donuts, coffee, yogurt, cereal, juice and instant oatmeal. While not my favorite, it was there and included. It is in process of being converted to a senior living place, so not really great for kids. I brought sheets and towels, but didn't use them. If noise bothers you, you can hear the speedway across the highway. I found it exciting, though. We had a nice stay for the money, and the area is nice. You will need a car for sure.
