Affordable, Satisfactory...and Close to Good Eats!
LaVondilynon 06/04/2017 00:44My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Sleep Inn - Downtown Brooklyn. The staff was friendly and accommodating and our room and bathroom were super clean. Our 2-day stay was peaceful and easy. The property, though tucked away on 22nd St., is close to 5th Ave. where you'll find lots of good eats - from Japanese and Italian to Indian and even Peruvian. We walked to the Barclay Center (home of the Nets!) and the mall - lots of shopping in between!
Pros - great staff, clean rooms, quiet, near great food (and almost everyone delivers until nearly midnight!)
Cons - It takes the hot water forever to get really hot; it's a 25min drive from JFK and there is no transportation service

smilelyk2001on 01/03/2017 20:09My partner and I stayed at this hotel back in October of 2016. Before making a decision to stay at this hotel, I read the reviews and they were about average. Spite everyone's views are different so I took a chance. Once we arrived the hotel was in a residential but industrial area. A few blocks up from the hotel dunkin donuts, few other eateries, and another hotel or two. This hotel had a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was good, yogurt, cereal, waffles, muffins, and boil eggs on the menu. The rooms are small like most NY hotels, and housekeeping was everyday.

Lisa Von 12/11/2016 20:12We were on a long weekend mother/daughter trip to the city. This place is so convenient to the subway (right out the front door) and the staff were excellent. No frills breakfast but adequate. Clean and quiet.
Good for one night stay
dakunston 05/08/2016 01:00We stayed here for one night before our morning flight out of JFK. It was perfect for one night, as the room is small. Room was clean, comfortable and new. Close to Coney Island. We took an Uber to Coney Island so the kids could have some fun on the rides. Parking is difficult, however they managed to find a spot for my husbands large truck. Breakfast was nice, however the room is small, so you may not get a seat.

kbgm4everon 25/06/2016 06:01Good location good WiFi good breakfast close to metro station excellent hotel parking space is very small but you could park on the side of the street, we parked there and had no problem. I Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to New York
