Dumpster Central
Lala Bon 08/10/2017 08:29Wow THE WORST. Changed rooms 3 times because they were dirty. In the first room we found beer CAPS and WEIRD BROWN SUBSTANCE in the bathroom. The second one the sheets had stains and cigarettes holes and fake EYELASHES. The third one the sheets were dirty again and the bathroom was dirty again. We did everything in our power to find another hotel or Airbnb, but sadly no such luck everything was sold out. I went downstairs to complain and they informed me that the cleaning crew is gone but they can give ME sheets to change the ones from our room. I HAD IT when I went back and realized that the sheets he gave me were not only dirty but were full of burned holes... I asked to speak to a manager who was not present ( big surprise). I was connected to Luis Castillo the supposed manager of this disgraceful and DISGUSTING place. After I explained to him everything that happened he told me and I quote “ You don’t like it then leave!” There was no apology nor even an acknowledgement of our ordeal. This is the THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We slept with clothes on, didn’t use the blankets ( too scary )and covered our pillows with our own clothing in attempt to protect ourselves. If you would like to pay to sleep in a dumpster and be treated poorly ... well you found your place.
Just OK
jsander830on 15/09/2017 21:16The good: check-in/out was quick and easy. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the standard fare, which was fine. Staff was friendly.
The bad: Carpets are in dire need of a good cleaning. Hallways smelled like smoke. We had a non-smoking room, but there was a cigarette burn in the bedspread.
Paper thin walls
Lani307on 11/08/2017 23:40Older hotel that seems to be remodeled. Smells of smoke in the lobby and my non smoking room did too. Even better, with the thin walls I got to listen to "oh god, yes" at 630 am in my neighbors room.
The bathroom sink had a faucet too small for sink which made it tough to wash my hands. There were also stains in the ceiling.
Overnight trip
Michele8567on 24/06/2017 15:28This was not the best place. Staff was very nice. Bathroom was clean. Rug was sticky. Needs to be remodeled. Not a hotel I would visit again. Not very many places to eat at night. Good only if in a pinch you need a place to stay. Room did have frig, microwave and coffe pot.
Better Places to Stay in the Area
dcjclckcon 01/02/2017 23:02This hotel is too loud due to it being on Rt 130. The breakfast was just average. The juice dispenser was empty at 9:10 am (breakfast ends at 9:30), and the attendant would not fill it for me to get a glass of juice. Even though we had a non-smoking room, the halls leading to our room smelled like smoke, which, in turned, crept into our room. We had to move a chair, as it was too close to the bed. I don't think anyone has ever vacuumed under it, as there was a lot of dirt/dust/??? under the chair. Also, the phone in our room did not work; a light was out above the sink; and our toilet seat was missing a screw so that the seat kept moving about. My last issue was that our room was never serviced on the last night of our stay. I came back to the room at 10:30pm at night to discover no clean facecloths and the bed unmade and trashcan not emptied. Based on my experience, I would never stay at another Sleep Inn again.
