Nice safe place
Leesa Son 01/08/2017 17:59We were very happy that this hotel was on the east edge of town near the police department. Room was very clean and quiet. We had our boat with us and there was plenty of parking for it attached to our full size pick up. Denny's is within waking distance which was a huge plus and once we were parked we didn't want to have to drive into town pulling out boat trailer.
Great employees, great hotel (especially for value)
TravlingLyteon 17/07/2017 14:17Althea (font desk) and Rufina (breakfast attendant) provided fantastic service, even under pressure! Both were professional, friendly and helpful, with a smile. Check in and out and breakfast was very busy, these two still never showed it. Top notch employees (hard to find that anymore)
This hotels has so many amenities, especially for the price. They even make made to order omelets. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Only downfall was no elevator, which was fine for me, but not my ailing parents.

Towels were thin and only 2 were provided

matthewtessnearon 09/07/2017 03:30Front desk staff member was very curt and almost rude during check-in. This was another hotel run by Choice Hotels that spelled our name wrong (Tessnar instead of Tessnear). Location was right off the highway. We liked the breakfast omelet prepared fresh by a hotel staff member.
Thomas is a gem!
Marlayna67on 01/07/2017 18:09Very surprised by the comfort of this hotel. From the moment Thomas greeted us at the desk we felt cared for. Bed was super comfortable, pillows were awesome, room was quiet and very dark. Breakfast was great, though I would suggest the addition of fruit. Good coffee! We especially enjoyed the professionalism of Thomas, so much so that we asked for his name so we could call the manager. I travel a lot and don't often find hotels with such cheerful staff.
