Perfectly fine stay
MistressWandaon 22/05/2017 22:44I had friends staying in the Homestead area, so I booked here to be in somewhat close proximity to them. It was clean, spacious, and easy to find. Very centrally located. 15 minutes from The Amana colonies, 15 minutes from Coralville (shopping, food, coffee, etc) and about 30 minutes from Iowa City. My only complaint was that my door stuck. Stuck HARD. Had to throw my weight against it to open it. I think there was new hall carpet though, so that may have affected that. would stay in again for the price and the location were I in that area again.
Clean, but lacking customer service & room amenities
jammin11on 07/05/2017 16:43Stayed here based on previous reviews. The room was clean, as stated, however customer service was lacking. When we checked out, the front desk person said "Here's your receipt". Not "How was your stay?". Must have known! The night before, when we arrived, there were two big holes in the cabinetry where a fridge and microwave used to be. When I called on my cell phone (the room phone next to beds was not functioning) to ask about that, the desk person said we had the last room because the hotel was full, and she thought a microwave was in the room (It wasn't). When I asked about it at check out, the person told me we had booked a rate (senior rate)/room that did not include these items. Strange because almost all hotels in this class include fridge and microwave these days....also, there were wet towels all around the common areas and kids from a baseball tourney shouting in the halls, although we didn't hear them after 11pm. Not really hotel's fault, but kinda set the stage for further disappointment.

meyersb725on 10/04/2017 17:14Came back for another business meeting 6 night stay. Everyone treated me nicely. Breakfast is still good, nice and quiet! Comfy bed and pillows. Room service was excellent!
Staff was nice, good breakfast. Love the coffee! Stayed for a whole week for a business trip.Overall enjoyed my stay.

sfiggon 10/03/2017 01:54I stayed 2 nights. The location is right off the interstate -easy to get to. Breakfast is very much like other breakfasts included with hotel reservations. King suites were very nice sized plenty of room.

Lynn Lon 08/03/2017 21:34Great price, hot water, quiet halls, and clean! Continental breakfast had something for everyone! Pleasant atmosphere! I will definitely stay here again! I also enjoyed the free newspaper and quiet neighborhood! Many restaurants nearby.
