Decent bed
louiserooteon 14/06/2017 21:11Stayed here last night with work, was a bit dubious to see a massage parlour next to the hotel and hotel exterior a bit grimy. However the inside foyer looks nice. The carpet on the stairs to room a bit worn but the room itself was fine, nice comfortable bed and very clean. Staff very friendly too. I wouldn't have a problem staying at this hotel again.

Rosy1966_12on 07/06/2017 22:20Aston Court Hotel is very well located, just outside the train station. Evening Receptionists are very helpful and polite. Room could do with a little bit of updating and fresh paint. It's ok for one night stay.
Centrally placed for the station and shops
Cennet53on 30/05/2017 14:00I stayed at this hotel for a weekend to attend a reunion. The foyer and public areas are clean and spacious although the restaurant was quite small and dark and got quite overcrowded at breakfast. My room was small and overlooked the back of the hotel; it had a lot of furniture in it which made it difficult for a single person to move around, so it would have been even harder for two people! There was a large water mark/stain on the lampshade and the bulb didn't work ( this was fixed later) and the water in the shower was lukewarm but overall, my stay was comfortable, although a few extra staff at busier times would have helped.
Just for a night's sleep
mhmf1109on 17/05/2017 19:13I only stayed there for a night and I decided not to have breakfast there. People at the reception were very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is not recent, but the rooms (I stayed in a twin room) were cozy, clean and comfortable, There were tea and coffee making facilities, together with some cookies.
Next time I go to Derby, I'll probably stay there !

Claire Ron 17/05/2017 09:55Had a fantastic time thanks to all the staff, thanks to Chris the events manager and all the staff on the night who were very helpful and had a lovely attitude, which can be rare nowdays!!
The room looked lovely with the mood lighting and the resident DJ was great and really got into the party spirit.
Brilliant night all round, will have no hesitations in recommending the Aston Court to my friends for any functions they have coming up.
