Worst place ever
ladybeth68on 20/07/2017 22:42Ceiling falling in. Windows busted out. Outdoor pool empty and busted up. Staff very rude. Not at all what was shown on web site. I would not recommend to anyone. This was a family trip and we were expecting a very nice place and when we arrived we found just the opposite! Stay away!!
It was nice when the tower first opened, but now average.
Laurie Aon 05/07/2017 15:22If you're just looking to stay a night or two, this place is fine. It's somewhat clean and has a decent setup and great location, but go somewhere nicer if you're staying longer or looking for a romantic jacuzzi suite because you will not want to get in these old stained nasty looking things! Seriously! I've stayed here numerous times over the years but decided on my most recent visit that it would be my last. This hotel has potential and if they start now, they can save it, but it's going to need some overall renovations and some attention to detail for sure!
Plus side - they do have nice balconies on the backside that overlook a small river. I have never seen any bugs whatsover and the bedding is clean. The staff is always super nice and friendly and they accepted my small dog =)

Don't Do It
Lori Don 04/07/2017 00:14Stayed at Smoky Shadows 3 nights. After arrival our reservations couldn't be found took about 10 mins to find. Outside of hotel where office is located one side looks vacant and ran down other side looks as maybe it's rented out as cheap weekly rooms. The opposite looks as though the owners and their families live there. The more updated side is in the middle and goes up to 7 floors. Our room wasn't horrible but wasnt good or great. Renovations are being done but not complete. Entrance to building is not pleasant looking. Right outside of entrance is the indoor pool looked like mold on one side at bottom of pool. Not a pool I would swim in. Outdoors pool isnt in working order. Small amount of water in it with dirt and trash. Pictures on website aren't what you really see. Will definitely stay somewhere else if I return to Pigeon Forge.

tnhll10on 02/07/2017 00:43While we were a bit skeptical on the outside appearance (they are also renovating. Due to be done in august) our room was very lovely. We were really impressed! Will definitely be staying here again. The staff at the front desk were really nice.
Very disappointed
toyotagal93on 18/06/2017 23:30I was very disappointed in my stay, very inconvenient that there wasn't a crib for my little boy available, our AC didn't work half the time. And when it did it got really cold in the room then it wouldn't turn off so we just froze. The pillows were too flat, not enough blankets or covers. The lobby to the elevators were way to small, we didn't feel like we was welcome at all. Next time we will be staying somewhere else So me and my best friend and my little boy won't be coming and stay here anymore.
