Good boutique hotel
Jose Con 12/07/2017 14:03Good location if you want to be based in downtown, quick access to Wall St but also close enough to TriBeCa and Soho. Hotel is minimalist modern, not too much fuss but it does the work for a business trip. If you are tired of being he usual chain hotels this is a nice change. Restaurant below is excellent as well.
Perfect Tribeca Stay
Laura Ion 11/07/2017 18:35We had a perfect stay at the Smyth. Check in was speedy and seamless. The rooms were great and nicely appointed. Our room happened to face West Broadway but we didn't have an issue with the noise. The staff was attentive and very helpful. We love their restaurant Little Park and their bar which you have easy access to downstairs. I wish we had a longer stay but we will be back. It's great that you can use Chase UR points to book.

davidsU9634WCon 10/07/2017 10:26Really enjoyed my stay here. Got upgraded to the corner balcony one bedroom suite which was extremely spacious with local TriBeCa loft vibe. Loved it!
The speakeasy behind the lobby lounge is a must! Great atmosphere and great staff
Another very nice Thompson hotel
LTraveler7on 06/07/2017 14:23We had been used to going to the Belgraves in London and liked it a lot (see review).
The Smyth was perfect for our NY stay during the weekdays as it was accessible to both downtown where my wife had meetings and right on the subway line to mid-town where I was participating in a workshop.
Rooms are nice (although NY small), service is excellent (Front desk recommended and excellent Lao restaurtant nearby) and lobby is cool to hangout and get some reading or work done.
